We had the chance to sit down with Patrik "cArn" Sättermon after his last tournament as a professional player, talking about his career and the retirement.
Before the IEM6 World Championship fnatic's captain and in-game leader Patrik "cArn" Sättermon announced that the event would be his last as a professional player. After getting eliminated in the quarter-final, Sättermon agreed to sit down with us for a retirement interview.
We now present you the first part of the interview, touching on why he decided to retire at this time, what he will do in the future, as well as talking about the days before joining fnatic. Part one concludes with Sättermon talking about the time Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund and Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl joined fnatic.
Stay tuned for part two of the interview, it will be posted next week.
He's responding to your comment because what you posted was unnecessary and not related to what the person above you was trying to say: It is sad that Carn is retiring.
carn retired ,and then his face :yeahhhh:
and commercials? for what? I seriously hope you're trolling.

If fnatic were only dependent on individual players, how come SK aren't owning the world like fnatic did in 2009? After all, their lineup is stronger on paper, especially now with trace.
Yes, surely it's commercial, no way!
Conspiracy Cat...
Also this interview was done at IEM and carn announced his retirement before the tournament. Zonic announced his retirement after. But maybe hltv.org will do one with zonic in the future? who knows, just be happy that they could do this interview..

P.S.
nix0n, you did great job with that interview.
So for this haters... stop acting like a kids and start being more respectable with a recent retired player, who already did a lot for cs.

cArn mentions a CyberXGames final, eXPerience.se vs TheTitans, i was there, spectating :)
:(
unfortunately came to an end
Please, for the love of Counter-Strike :(
CSP and CS:GO use nearly the same engine (the newer SDK of CS:GO just supports iOS). When it comes to graphic, it's all about the quality of textures and light-technique.
the devs are doing their best. the biggest problem for CSP are ignorant retards like you two are.

They don't do this for money, they do it for the 1.6-Community. Yes the project is slow, but you can't blame them for it. They're doing their best and work hundreds of hours beside their normal work.
Instead of just writing "they are too slow", you better start helping them. Play the game, give them feedback, spread the word "CSpromod" and if you know good programmers, texture-artists, level-designers or audio-developers: show them this project.
Next weekend we get the chance to test the newest version of CSP, it's an official DM-test. Take part of it and give them feedback.
