cArn retirement interview part one
We had the chance to sit down with Patrik "cArn" Sättermon after his last tournament as a professional player, talking about his career and the retirement.
Before the IEM6 World Championship fnatic's captain and in-game leader Patrik "cArn" Sättermon announced that the event would be his last as a professional player. After getting eliminated in the quarter-final, Sättermon agreed to sit down with us for a retirement interview.
We now present you the first part of the interview, touching on why he decided to retire at this time, what he will do in the future, as well as talking about the days before joining fnatic. Part one concludes with Sättermon talking about the time Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund and Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl joined fnatic.

Being a team leader isn't only about being an IGL. Anyway, at DHW 2011 he did a good job.
If fnatic were only dependent on individual players, how come SK aren't owning the world like fnatic did in 2009? After all, their lineup is stronger on paper, especially now with trace.

Well I don't know what the other guys want, but what if carn was the only guy to agree to this kind of interview? It's not exactly like nix0n can walk up to a pro player and say "we'll do a 20 min interview" without the other player agreeing to do it :P

We had the opportunity to do this video interview, as IEM6 WC would be his last event. Other players announce they retire when they are in their respective homes, making it a bit hard to conduct an interview like this one.

Sincerely, I see many kids comenting here. cArn is not so good like top aim players (neo, f0rest, gtr...), but I think he deserves a lot of respect for everything that he made in cs and for cs. For me he was an amazing igl of a legendary team of cs, he has a lot of teamplay, an incredible knowledge of the game and already won many big events.
So for this haters... stop acting like a kids and start being more respectable with a recent retired player, who already did a lot for cs.

graphics are getting outdated?!? right now, they use those low-quality source-textures. but they're working on their own textures.
CSP and CS:GO use nearly the same engine (the newer SDK of CS:GO just supports iOS). When it comes to graphic, it's all about the quality of textures and light-technique.
the devs are doing their best. the biggest problem for CSP are ignorant retards like you two are.

Even thoug I dont know him personally he always seems like my old best friend whom I haven't seen in a long time. I love how insightful he is. He probably know CS better than any1, and he adapted to new game styles since 2002 and managed to be among best players, being one of the best himself.
