Seeds for CPH Games announced
The seedings for the 20,000€ Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament at Copenhagen Games have been announced.
With annual Copenhagen Games closing in, the organizers have announced the seedings for the tournament. The teams have been divided into three layers: high, medium and low seeds. Check out the three categories below.
High seeds
ESC Gaming - Neo, kuben, TaZ, Loord, pasha
SK Gaming - GeT_RiGhT, f0rest, face, RobbaN, trace
Natus Vincere - markeloff, Edward, starix, Zeus, ceh9
Alternate - approx, Troubley, Kapio, Tixo, Roman R.
WinFakt - allu, aslak, H^N, BASiC, dRiim
Medium seeds
PTT - aneee, REASTEN, bJERKE, chrisJ, luosrevo
zNation - AERO, plutohd, payneb, wAke, liTTle
alchemists - DaY, prb, tacky, zEn, hellzERk
Low seeds
semXorah - dmz, atx, LuL4, lkn, felippe
Mojo Amsterdam - guidson, xilo, lex0r, tazzie, ufear
The groups will be drawn on Wednesday next week. There will be a total of eight groups, each with four teams. Groups will be drawn with one high, one medium and one low seed, as well as a team from the on-site qualifier.
The tournament will begin Friday, playing the group stage and one round of the playoffs. The remainder of the tournament will be played Saturday.
All teams will advance from the group stage, top two placed in each group will advance to the upper-bracket, while third and fourth place in the groups drop into round one of the lower-bracket. Group stage, as well as the upper-bracket will be played best-of-three maps, while the lower-bracket in the playoffs will be best-of-one map.
HLTV.org will be on site in Copenhagen to provide you with full coverage of the event. Stay tuned for more coverage leading up to the event, including a lengthy preview about the big names attending Copenhagen Games 2012.

I have. The last time they played was at Komplett Gamer Challenge #2 in October 2010, were they got destroyed by Full Gaming (they were godlike until mTw took ArcadioN from them) and they beat mTw and almost beat fnatic in the finals.
Anyways they sucked last time they played, but it's as always fun to see old players play again :)

Yeah I remember those two tournaments, but not Gravitas' performance! Anyway, I don't think it's realistic to expect them to achieve much. They might pull off one upset, but being seeded low means that they will have a very hard group!

Dont think the motivation is the same anymore and that goes for finding available "stable" sponsors aswell. Xapso has a lot of potential - just worry if the commitment is there in all of them. Things could be worse though - at least danes/swedes can work well with each other and that our top3 players are now in top5 clans in the world :)
