Copenhagen Wolves have announced they will have StarteR represent the organization at the upcoming Copenhagen Games event.

While the Danish organization focused on other divisions for the past year, the organization previously engaged into a Counter-Strike 1.6 team, housing the trio which now is the backbone of Anexis.

Copenhagen Wolves today revealed they have teamed up with StarteR for Copenhagen Games. StarteR will play under the wings of Copenhagen Wolves in the 20,000€ tournament, where the team has received a direct invite for the main tournament.

The team will attend with Danish veterans, all of whom made their impact when playing actively. Andreas "KK" Andreasen was a member of the The Titans, as well as SK Gaming, finishing off in H2k Gaming, who placed second at the first IEM season.

He's bringing along three former H2k team mates in Jonas "whimp" Svendsen, Thomas "MoRf4r" Holm and Christian "Paddy" Juhl, as well as the former NoA and mTw member Muhamed "MJE" Eid.

Danish veterans gathers again

Thomas "MoRf4r" Holm gave follow statement about the cooperation with Copenhagen Wolves:

"First off a big thanks to Copenhagen Wolves & SteelSeries for sponsoring us during this event, hopefully we can show some good results. Other than that we really look forward to Copenhagen Games, meeting the oldschoolers there are still around the scene and playing some CS. Since we ended up in the low seed we are probably going to meet some of the big teams in the group stage, so exciting matches are coming up right away. Once again a big thanks to Copenhagen Wolves & SteelSeries and hopefully people will cheer for us at Copenhagen Games!"

Copenhagen Wolves project manager Jakob Lund Kristensen stated the following about sending the team to Copenhagen Games:

"Growing up with several of these players as my idols, there was no way I was going to let a chance like this slip away. They represent some of the biggest names in Danish Counter-Strike history and this is a fun way to unite something old school with something new school being Copenhagen Wolves. To make it all better SteelSeries was hooked on the idea from the very first get go and with them being such an integral part in the development of electronic sports in Denmark I was very happy they shared our enthusiasm about this opportunity.
