Giants have announced their return to activity with a newly-built Spanish roster featuring former x6tence players.
Last time Giants were around was back in 2009 when they housed a Swedish team, which fell apart shortly before the Intel Extreme Masters season three finals in March that year.
The Spanish organization will now once again feature a Counter-Strike 1.6 division, this time housing a Spanish team. The reopening of the division is led by Borja "GuMmY" Gonzalez, who last year got removed from x6tence to make space for Aitor "milicua" Fernández.
Gonzalez has brought a total of four former x6tence members to Giants, José "YuRk0" Aspas and Carlos "xhiroz" Puente, who both went inactive towards the end of 2011, as well as Christopher "power" Rodriguez and Yzan "rai" Cobacho.

There are currently no reports to where the team plans on going in near future in terms of events and online leagues, a possibility could be xfunction Fraglider Cup next month in Porto, Portugal.
