It is here. What we have been waiting for since Thursday. It is the final.

Two very intense semi-finals are now over. We now know who is going to fight for the 40,000$. It is the Grand Final at the ESWC 2007, being played best of three maps (BO3). Two teams made the cut, and are now standing in the final, starting at 16.30CET. Teams are as follows:

NoA vs Pentagram - HLTV
ave, hpx, MJE, zonic & sunde
TaZ, Neo, Luq, loord & kuben

NoA made it to the final by beating the defending champions. Starting on de_inferno, with three times overtimer, made the match really exciting to watch. Next were de_train. A map were NoA lately have been playing a very strong CT side. This time they started T though, but were able to gather 9 rounds. CT side mibr came closer to NoA. NoA were able to pull it off in the very last round, and won the match 16-14.

Pentagram faced the Swedish team fnatic. One of the few teams, who hadn’t lost a single match through the entire tournament. First map were de_inferno, and fnatic made it clear they wanted the spot in the final. Winning the match 16-9. Pentagram chose this map, but fnatic were able to beat them on their own ground. Next were de_dust2. The map fnatic chose. Pentagram did the same thing to fnatic, as they did to them. Pentagram won a very close match with 16-12. Third map were de_inferno again, the map fnatic just beat Pentagram on. This time the outcome was reversed, Pentagram won the match 16-7, and 2-1 in total.
