Former EG members Derek "dboorN" Boorn and Jeff "hero" Mettetal have joined undertow while Paul "pauLy" Guerboyan has gone inactive and been replaced by former Back2Back player Christian "sobo" Soboleske in UMX.

With season eleven of ESEA Invite underway and a hefty $19,600 prize pot announced with $10,000 going for the winners, teams are making roster changes to improve their chances at winning it all.


pauLy goes inactive 

Guerboyan joined Ultimax Gaming right before the last season's roster lock and helped the team finish second at ESEA Season 10 finals, losing against Soboleske's Back2Back in the grand finals.

Ultimax are so far undefeated after three matches, including a 16-9 win against Cyber Revolution which was Soboleske's first with the team. They will be facing Danny "fRoD" Montaner's Check Six and the defending champions Back2Back in the next week.


dboorN returns to action in North America 

With Boorn and Mettetal joining, Jon "darkstarr" Gersdorf and Eric "kayahhtic" McCown are going inactive. Mettetal went inactive after EG's disasterous IEM New York showing, while Boorn hasn't competed since EG.cs disbanded in January. Anthony "djibouti" Manosca is currently a temporary replacement due to his busy work schedule.

Where are all these US teams? Are they planning on attending big events along with all the other big-name teams any time soon or they will play ESEA forever??? imo this UMX lineup is much stronger and motivated than their previous sponsored team when they had their "gaming house" (aka barely made playoffs playing right next to each other:p). 5 solid lan players here. they should do well.
