Na`Vi confirmed for K1 League

Event: K1 League 2012 Season 1
Game: Counter-Strike 1.6

Natus Vincere has been confirmed as the second participant of K1 League Season 1 which will run from late May until early July in Shanghai, China with a prize purse of $95,000.

After confirming TyLoo along with the league's announcement in late April, the Copenhagen Games runner ups have been confirmed as the second participating team in the league.

The Ukrainian team will spend over a month in China, which will see them play K1 League matches on the weekends and practice Counter-Strike 1.6 during the week against Chinese teams to stay in shape in the original game.


Na`Vi will head to China for over a month 

According to PCGames.cn, Na`Vi will still be able to attend DreamHack Summer 2012 on June 16-19, as the schedule of the Chinese event will allow Yegor "markeloff" Markelov's team to travel to Sweden.

K1 League will feature Counter-Strike: Online which is version of CS targeted for the Asian market that uses a micropayment model. The complete list of the eight participating teams as well as the schedule for the event will be published in the coming days.

Yes, I did. Look it up on youtube if you want. It looks a lot like CS:CZ... The maps look the same as in 1.6... only models differ.

To any Chinese users; is this funded by Nexon? Aren't they the company who takes games and adds a micropayment model to them and adds minor tweaks, etc...
