The last qualifier for 3rd Generation Intel Core Challenge by Inferno Online has come to an end, icsu beating SuperDragonz 2-1.

For the second day in a row teams traveled to Inferno Online to play LAN qualifier for Saturday's big event. Friday's qualifier featured seven Swedish teams and cMar from the UK.

Tommy "Potti" Ingemarsson's icsu team made it to the final, defeating sChEnArEy, one of the qualifier favorites. In the other side of the bracket, SuperDragonz made way to the final via semi-final win against DWTR.

First map, de_nuke saw SuperDragonz claim the lead at half-time, with a 8-7 lead after playing the Terrorists side. Second half was intense and it looked like it would go to overtime to determine the winner, but SuperDragonz managed to clinch the last round, winning 16-14 to go up 1-0.

Second map, de_inferno started with icsu on the CT side, the first half was a close affair all the way through, icsu managed to claim 8-7 before switching sides. Ingemarsson's team continued where they let go in the first half, winning the pistol and another five rounds in a row to make it 14-7. SuperDragonz managed to win just one round, before icsu took another two in their favor, winning second map 16-8.

Third map, de_tuscan continued with icsu dominating, going up 9-0 from the CT side, Hugo "huggan" Lopez in the starring role with a 20-0 score. SuperDragonz had nothing that could penetrate the icsu defense, 13-2 at half-time for Lopez & co. Second half saw icsu win the pistol round and another two rounds in a row, to win 16-2 and 2-1 overall.
