einheit to become new Karont3.CS

Game: Counter-Strike 1.6

Spanish organization Karont3 hosted a tournament in co-operation with ESL to find them a new Counter-Strike 1.6 team and einheit ended up winning the tournament.

Karont3's objective is to create a professional team and they set up the qualifier with ESL to find the best possible candidates for it from Spain. The organization is currently home to some known Spanish players in other game titles.

After falling short 9-16 against e-files.eu on de_nuke in the upper bracket, einheit took down myRevenge.es 16-9 on de_train to advance to the grand final. In the end it was einheit who came out on top, winning the first map de_train 16-10 and clinching the win 19-17 in overtime on de_inferno.

As winners of the online tournament, einheit will be awarded two year contracts with the organization that will cover everything from travel to national and international tournaments as well as money for the team.

According to einheit, only Arturo "sukitRon" Gil and Juan C. "meisoN" Chacón are confirmed members of the new Karont3 team, while the rest of the team will be built around them and should be published in the coming days.

Other than x6tence (if that was their name) which haven't made an impact really, I don't remember there being a major team. myRevenge.es hasn't done anything.

MusambaN1 is not part of the team anymore. He is playing LoL nowadays if I am not mistaken.

Current x6tence lineup is FlipiN, Kairi, arki, xikii and oFF.

same was asked for colon 1,5 years ago, and fyrte 2 years ago. mark 3 years, trace 4 years, the list goes on. if they do get the funding that is promised they will probably up their practising hours alot and the international experience will make sure they develop really fast.

Im not saying they are great players, but they have the potential to be :P
