CPH Games announce 2013 event

Game: Counter-Strike 1.6

The organizers behind Copenhagen Games have just announced the dates and venue for their 2013 event.

As with the previous editions, the event will take place in Øksnehallen, an exhibition centre in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. The organizers have set the dates to March 27-31.

This year's edition saw fnatic overcome Natus Vincere in the event's final, their first appearance with Finn "karrigan" Andersen, which rewarded them a nifty prize sum of €9,400.

This is the only information about the upcoming event that has been revealed as of yet. It is believed the organizers are reassessing the games that will be featured.

No the event is scheduled to take place with prototype robots that will (hopefully) run smoothly without the nuisance of human beings.


On the bright side, at least the probability for delays has dramatically decreased.

Most likely yes, they were very fond of cs 1.6 in their last news and claimed that 1.6 has still much to offer. Let's hope for the best :-)

ofc it will. CPH Games, as it is, can announce tournaments for the next 100 years. CS 1.6, even if the game its near the end, got them prize money + around 2k euros from registrations and spectators. (teams had to pay a fee, also specs). so they had prize money and some extra from every game + sponsors. ofc it will happen again. it was ... what indians say... "a big hit".
