Two quite unusual rounds were played in the match between fnatic and ESC Gaming in the fnatic PLAY league playoffs. That's why we decided to show you them both in this video.
In the first round we have Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl, who is left in a difficult spot with four enemies remaining, while his last teammate is trying to save his weapon in B bombsite. Somehow Ståhl manages to make the perfect timing to take home this round by killing two opponents and defusing, while the last two enemies were too far away to take out Ståhl.
In the second round we have Andreas "MODDII" Fridh who starts out by picking up a kill as he pushes up the middle. Fridh then finds himself in a situation much similar to Ståhl's, as he is trying to retake B bombsite with only one teammate remaining, while four opponents are alive. He sneaks into B bombsite and walks right past an enemy before he takes out Jaroslaw "pasha" Jarzabkowski and then continues to pick up another two before defusing the bomb, while Michael "Friis" Jørgensen takes out the last opponent.

These awesome actions should had gotten a better edit! Was atleast 10 times more epic live, seeing them win 2on4's when one is saving already. Also with a crazy timing on the first one, which really doesn't come across with all this music n shit!

I thought the guy at the wall lost connection or went afk during moddiis lmao. Gux's clip was just sloppy from ESC they must have expected to not have to defend a re take. Fnatic awper was saving to so maybe they though gux was to?
it doesnt explain why some1 retook a bs covered by three terrorist by himself . i think the problem was that loord didnt notice that moddii just entered bs,
HAHA ye :) ...but still i think he turned around for awating flashes maybe thats why there is one in the right side hiding behind box so if kuben gets flashed then pasha comes out,still cind of suprise from MODDII
the moddii's situation guys.. it's 2 vs 4. i wouldn't expect the 2 remaining to split up and try to retake the bombsite without each other. ofc it was bad play by the last ts, he should have been at the platform behind the box, but it's also a nice action from fnatic :D
"the last ts" i meant kuben not taz but youre right bro =)))). i swallowed my words after carefully watching the demo again, which was funny as hell. for kuben was watching the hall, he turned away for just half a sec. and right on that blink of an eye moddii sneaked in. luck as shiet.
pasha was at his spot switching m4 knife m4 knife and then he saw an armed ct aiming at his head then ba bamm... must be hard for him =)))
He did. The problem was just that Loord probably felt uneasy not being covered from the "hole above the boxes". He was watching the tunnels all along, until the very swift moment when he looked to the left. Then he looked back to the tunnels once more. But by then, unfortunately for ESC, Moddii had already entered the site. =)
The timing was really really sick for Moddii... ;)
I don't know if you looked through the demo, but I did. If I remember correctly he is not completely covered at the position from where he can see the dark halls, and therefore this unfortunate result.
my guess is that kuben said to his team that someone should watch tunnels, but no one listened. or he's just stupid, cant tell =D kuben was trying to avoid flashes that come from outside of B btw
i think loord was supposed to watch tunnels, but he was either sleeping or looking away when moddii sneaked past, because you can see loord there when he enters site
bad luck and bad gamble not cover tunnel, if 2 terrrorists retake through window and Bdoor like 99% oftimes will happen, i think no T would even die,but such unexpected move, no flash no running,just sneaking in paid of big this time. just combination good luck and timing, rare situation almost never happen like this in big match, b site is so easily to defend usually.
nothing special really random action ;) but ESC must play better if they want to win some tournaments, on B it's pasha fail because he don't cover kuben and kuben is stand like this because he didn't want to take flashbang on his face when ct is rushing from mid with flashes, i see soo many peoples dont understand kuben stand
if you watch demo you can clearly see that moddi had a BIG luck when he entered the b site.
Pasha is the last guilty of they 3. kuben was hiding from flash and they thought loord was watching tunnel as he did but he looked just for 1 second on the left window cause he was unsecure and that was enough that moddi pass as someone wrote above.. no guilty, maybe loord cause he coud find better place to watch tunnel..
second situation- kuban fault, cause he left A site through middle and left 2 other who can always easy die in these kind of mathes.. and also maybe esc player should stay on the long and watch bombside,instead to come on site..
also huge luck for GUX cause kubban missed him for seconds from the back really lucky and rare situations for Fnatic
