Asia E-Sports Cup will host four qualifiers for Counter-Strike 1.6 in Asia with the winners being flown out to Tokyo Game Show 2012 where the $15,650 tournament will take place.
The registration will begin on June 18 at http://cyac.jp and the organizers will release the rules, schedule and format on the same day. Qualifiers will take place in Japan, India, Singapore and Malaysia for Counter-Strike 1.6.
Prize distribution:
1. $10,000
2. $4,000
3. $1,650
Winner of each qualifier will receive $5,000 for travel to the Japanese capital and their accommodation will be fully covered during Tokyo Game Show 2012 where the event will take place on September 20-23.
You can find out more about Asia E-Sports Cup at their website, asiaesportscup.com. HLTV.org will do its best to keep you informed as new information becomes available on June 18.

Cyac also used to host QuakeLive cups on the regional servers. I miss watching them :(

2nd 320000 Yen ($4,000)
3rd 130000 Yen ($1,650)
Qualifiers:
4 slots are available. Qualifications will take place in each participating country. The winner of each qualifier will receive an invite to attend the Grand Final at Tokyo Game Show 2012.

Just to give you guys info about the Japanese teams that will be competing. As for now Vae Vicits and team speeder(SPD) will be the top 2 that will be playing in the online qualifiers. This are the top 2 teams that always battle out in the online league called Survival of the fittest.
