Groups for the Swedish Championship, taking place at DreamHack Summer, have been drawn.

The 2012 Swedish Championship will have its finals at DreamHack Summer this weekend in Jönköping, Sweden. Eight teams have qualified via four qualifying stops across Sweden since October last year.

The groups for the finals have now been drawn and the tournament is ready to kick off at 10:00 on Saturday. The groups are:

Group A
SK Gaming face, f0rest, RobbaN, Delpan, GeT_RiGhT
Hellslayers jw, samzter, schneider, SKYTTEN, flusha
Optimalt emilio, dalito, rape, pita, Jumpy
WinFakt FYRR73, niko, threat, zneel, kHRYSTAL
Group B  
fnatic Xizt, Gux, MODDII, Friis, karrigan, cArn   
Coldgame spozy, pawnile, seazon, pop, Zyppe
a2g hyvlarn, dennis, pronax, rogga, tacky
sChEnArEy kvicken, striker, floreNz, keiz, givar

The group stage will take place on Saturday, with top two ranked teams from each group advancing to the playoffs, which will take place on Sunday. The schedule for the tournament is listed below.

Saturday, June 16

Sunday, June 17

17:45 A1 vs. B2
17:45 B1 vs. A2
20:00 Third place decider
20:00 First map of grand final
21:30 Rest of grand final

The times for the third place decider and the first map of the grand final are estimated, as there is no fixed time, but will start shortly after the semi-finals conclude.

Just as the grand final in the DreamHack Summer tournament, the match will begin with first map in the regular tournament area and continue with second and potentially third map in DreamArena Extreme.

The Swedish Championship, which last year as labled as IOL FINAL4, was won by SK Gaming with a 2-0 victory against fnatic in the final.

The eight teams will be competing for a 100,000 SEK prize purse, with the follow distribution:

1. 70,000 SEK ($9,865)
2. 20,000 SEK ($2,818)
3. 10,000 SEK ($1,409)

You will be able to follow all of the action from the Swedish Championship, as well all other Counter-Strike 1.6 related tournaments right here on HLTV.org.

Prizemoney for SC is higher (1st place) and it got less teams. It's what it says above. PRIZE POT is same. Learn the difference.
