After a close loss to Virtus.pro, SK Gaming met with WinFakt in the second round of Group A and they were once again unable to close the match, this time splitting points with their fellow country men after a 15-15 result on de_dust2.
At the group stage of Swedish Championship yesterday, SK Gaming overran their countrymen on de_inferno, but this time they would meet on de_dust2.
WinFakt made a better start despite being on the CT side and they took a 2-0 lead, but SK quickly got back on their feet and started dominating by winning 8 rounds in a row.
WinFakt then seemed to have figured out what they needed to do and they brought the deficit down to 8-6, before letting SK take the last round partly thanks to two quick entry kills by Marcus "Delpan" Larsson.
The start of the second half soon brought the score to 9-9 with WinFakt in the driving seat. The all-important first buy round of the second half went down to the wire with Björn "threat" Pers winning a 1vs2 situation.
That inspired his team and they continued winning until the second half scoreboard showed 8-0 (overall a 14-9 lead for WinFakt). SK didn't give up though and they started putting on a streak of their own at that point and even turned it around to get to match point at 15-14.
But similarly to their Virtus.pro clash, they were unable to close the match, and WinFakt took the last round which meant both teams would get 1 point.
