Na`Vi defeat M5 at DreamHack
Time: 2012-06-17 15:37
Game: Counter-Strike 1.6

In the opening round of group B at DreamHack Summer 2012, Natus Vincere has scored a win over CIS rivals Moscow Five on de_tuscan with a final score of 16-12.

Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev lost a one-on-two situation in the pistol round but made up for it by scoring two AK frags on their second round force buy as terrorists to even it up. The same trend continued as the teams traded rounds until M5 were up 3-2.

M5 scored round six as well but the lead was shortlived as the game continued neck and neck with Roman "hacker" Abramov leading the way at the top of the scoreboard with a 20/5 score with four rounds to go in the half. The Russians edged out another two round lead at 7-5, but Na`Vi closed the gap with two more rounds to make it 7-8.

Natus Vincere started DreamHack with a win

The second half pistol round was easily won by Na`Vi who also secured M5's force buy loss and the following save round before the Russians' sewer attack put them on the scoreboard in the second half at 10-9.

Moscow Five struggled while Natus Vincere's seemingly superior counter-terrorist side yielded more results, putting them in the lead 14-10. With Sukhariev and Arseny "ceh9" Trynozhenko scoring two frags each two rounds later, it seemed like Na`Vi was headed for game point but Sergey "Fox" Stolyarov clutched a one-on-five situation to keep the game alive.

Stolyarov had another chance at that in the following round but Yegor "markeloff" Markelov took him down without trouble. In the final round of the match M5 attempted a B rush but Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko stopped them while leading Na`Vi to a 16-12 win with a personal score of 19/4 as CTs.
