We once again take you back to SK Gaming's run at CPL Winter 2005, this time to the grand final where Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed's four kills helped elevate SK above their competition.
Action begins with Mohamed posted up in the library of de_inferno where he scores two AWP kills from, as Lunatic-hai are attacking lane towards the A bombsite with score tied at 13-13.
Left in a three-on-three, each team scores two frags with Mohamed picking his third of the round, before he is left in a one-on-one situation against the last standing Korean, whom he takes out with an M4A1 and then defuses the bomb.
they really needed him to step up there, and break the korean spirits. had they lost that round, they would have lost the match.
insane pressure on him that round, but amazing clutch play :) one of many reasons why abdi is a legend
I think it was winter cpl 2k3 final where he had a similar display. At the age of 16, in his debut for SK, he held his nerves in check and decided the grand final for his team, with a spectacular display of oneshots and killsprees!
grand final winning -4 clutch isnt that good for you? personally I saw this live and the match was one of the best ever in the counter-strike scene. Seen about 50+ grand finals thru hltv/vod/stream
Think of the tournament, match, and score. Realise that skbwas the better tactical team, but was getting outshot by the sick aiming Koreans quite some rounds, and the pressure in the clutch with 13-13, bomb planted
