Maximum Effort runs over Check Six

Maximum Effort has demolished Check Six in the consolidation final at ESEA Invite Season 11 finals. They won de_tuscan 16-1 and finished the series with a 16-3 victory on de_train.

Opening map was de_tuscan which 100% lost the deciding map against UMX on last night. However, this time they showed up in a completely different form as Braxton "swag" Pierce led his team in fragging with a 21-4 score as they scored a devastating 14-1 lead.

Second half proved to be no different as Pierce added three more frags with no deaths to his total on the map whil ethe only person on Check Six to get on the scoreboard was David "Xp3" Garrido with his two frags. Maximum Effort went on to win 16-1.

Check Six's last map in this tournament ended up being de_train where they got to start as counter-terrorists. Garrido and Matt "Warden" Dickens weret the only ones ot put up resistance as they combined for 25 frags, while the other three members could only muster eleven frags between the three of them. On the other side, Pierce was once again dominant as he scored 20 frags as 100% won their terrorist side 12-3.

After switching sides the same trend continued as Maximum Effort scored four straight rounds with Pierce once again topping the charts with six frags. Maximum effort completed their 2-0 series win with a 16-3 scoreline on de_train.

Maximum Effort will face Ultimax Gaming USA at 19:30 in the grand finals of ESEA Invite Season 11 finals. As 100% is coming from the lower bracket, they will have to win two best-of-three series to claim their second consecutive championship while UMX only needs one.
