eSrael has decided to drop the Danish team who have again surfaced under the name Wikipediots and are looking for backing to attend GameGune.
Although eSrael has been busy lately with various online tournaments where they showed promising results, they were forced to miss DreamHack Summer due to school and later on their star player Martin "trace" Heldt departed the team for fnatic.
Now just three weeks before GameGune 2012 is set to kick off at Bilbao Exhibition Centre, their organization eSrael has decided to stop supporting the Danish team who are now forced to look for other sponsorships.

Xyp9x & co looking for a new sponsorship
According to Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, the team is open to offers for just GameGune or also for a longer period of time, citing their interest in attending events such as FireCore and ASUS Final Battle of the Year which they qualified for.
Wikipediots:
Timm "ArcadioN" Henriksen
Morten "coloN" Johansen
Christian "turkizh" Bindslev
Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth
The team has not yet decided on a new player, instead opting to weigh their options while waiting for Inuria Summer Championship. They now go by the name Wikipediots once again and if you're interested in partnering up with them, you can reach them via e-mail.

Anyway, it's sad for them. Hope they will find a new sponsor asap. This team has big potential.

2. very useful
3. Beyond calculable or appraisable value; of inestimable worth
Maybe some sponsorship for GG for some team available right now...
just my thoughts on it all, anyone got some good public 1.6 server ips?
There has come a time when a lot of developers decided to focus solely on consoles, but the time passed a while ago as consoles have gotten older.
At the moment according to the sources I follow every once in a while, triple A titles generally go for both consoles and PC; while indie developers generally focus on PC because console sales are very risky compared to PC due to the PC having features such as "free to play model" or other marketing models that the consoles don't feature. Especially the Xbox you never see a f2p game on the Xbox.
Anyway appreciate that you don't lash out as most people tend to do ;)
No big developers are completely focusing on the PC markets unless it is an RTS or MMORPG (SC2, Guild Wars 2 etc.) title, we even see developers like Valve focusing on the consoles. The traditional pc-market will eventually die and people will prefer tablets for business and consoles for gaming. Especially with cloud-gaming right around the corner.
Many people say Diablo III is of low quality compared to what we used to get, the same goes with CS:GO, which is made by outhouse developers much like most expansion packs in the old days. PC titles like GTA (6 month pre-release on PS3 and Xbox), CoD (no modding support) and others are now console titles first and pc-titles next.
The indie-market might have grownm but the percentage is so small that it doesn't matter.

We have hardcore games, who support the indie-marked. And then we have a lot of gamers who just buys all the new stuff. They could be console-gamers because they will end up buying the same eventually.

This entire topic can be discussed and it differs in opinion because to a lot of people they play consoles as casual gamers (such as my girlfriend) and only the hardcore players own high end computers.
Although the point about gamers and the developer market are two completely different issues.
i remember the times when denmark had 3-4 big team
with players like these
ave mje hpx sunde zonic trace friis faagan karrigan kk zone whimp arcadion anizz drally spx nuggi morf4r paddy and many more i cant remember right now :/// kinda miss cs
+ katulen
Wikipediots you deserve a good organisation with a good standing GL
Thanks for having them eSrael, i definately understand.
With and without trace they were great, adding an amazing 5th such as minet / suraNga / Snappi / Nuggi etc. would make this team as good as before.
Wish them the best of luck
