Following a disappointing showing at DreamHack Summer 2012, Björn "threat" Pers has retired from gaming and will be replaced by John "wenton" Eriksson in WinFakt.
The former Lemondogs squad's first event under the WinFakt tag was DreamHack Summer 2012 where they failed to advance from the group stage in the main tournament with ties against Virtus.pro and SK Gaming and placed third in the Swedish Championship after losing versus both SK and fnatic.
This isn't the first time Pers has gone inactive, as he decided to step down for a while last year due to school, which could be the reason for him opting to stop playing for now. On WinFakt's site, Pers stated he is leaving pro gaming for the time being to focus on other things in life.
As a replacement WinFakt have acquired John "wenton" Eriksson who has never been among the top of the Swedish scene before, having mostly represented teams on the lower end of the spectrum. His most notable former team is a2g.
Emil "FYRR73" Karlsson
Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström
Nikolaus "niko" Johansen
John "wenton" Eriksson
Jim "zneel" Andersson
WinFakt will however not be attending GameGune 2012 this weekend in Bilbao, Spain and with Karlsson signed up with a mixteam for FireCore 4, it is not known what events the team plans on attending in the future.

GL to the new lineup but I wouldnt be surprised if Winfakt pull their sponsership again and these guys just end up giving up the game.
It's time for a new generation.. or you would expect that they play for several years?
IT'S TIME FOR THE THIRD GENERATION OF CS PLAYERS =D LOOKING FORWARD FOR THAT ^^

On: i think the game it's evolving.. Some player will go, some players will stay, some players will have the chance to show themselves..
CS will die when people stop playing it.. not when the organisation that support the events quit the game..
(Bold is like CAPS LOCK ON haha)
we are confused in something..
CS BIG Scene maybe are dying, but that's not the important thing... but the game?? neh.. CS 1.6 it's intalled in my notebook yet and like this it will remain for a looot of years.. and i will play it a lot ^^ and the whole people who love the game will do the same thing..
The game will die, when no one plays it..

you think valve has paid someone to quit cs? hahahahahahah
why would valve pay anyone to quit playing their product?
besides, neo carn etc have all said cs is dying, neo even said this is probably the last tournament for cs 1.6. does that mean he wants people to stop playing and valve paid him too, or does that not apply to polish people?
"CS WILL BE DEATH AFTER THIS YEAR. (I know its obvious but look at neo, markeloff, Xizt, carn - they know that CS is dying but they almost cant tell it to people, because its still in their hearts)."
so you didn't say that?
PS: Valve also paid me to write this.
oh and btw its about smart ass

you are just mad because they didnt take you in, btw manne is 100 times a better player than you.
he is one of the very few people who have gotten cut after a single tournament by a team, and for you to suggest he is really good, basically means you think carn doesn't know what he is talking about - which is ironic because he is a good team builder and most people agree with that.
besides, if stats didn't exist for cs, if they only included lan, or at least didn't include nations cup and random leagues, people would think he is just another random player.
DH Summer 2010: with concode. He was amazing versus top teams, his K/D diff was probably +312321312412312312312
same goes for the EPS Nordic. Again vs pro teams. Amazing play. The same goes for the Swedish Championship.
Ok. You think he is not that good player as all of us think, but why do you always talk against him ? why dont you troll hyvlarn ? or keiz? or huggan ? they are pretty much the same as him.
i haven't watched him play at dreamhack summer 2010 so no comments from that, but i saw him play at 2011 summer, and he was so bad he was cut after one event - something totally unheard of in modern counter-strike.
he got a legit chance in a top team and was cut, obviously there has to be a reason. the rest of them aren't probably better than him (i don't watch them play so not sure), but at least they aren't as good online according to stats ^^.
maybe he didnt have the chance to play much LAN, so he gets nervous when he does it. Maybe fnatic saw that he is a great player, but he hasnt got much LAN experiance. According to me thats the reason why they cut him.
Did you take part at EPS Nordic II ? If u did, u probably know that he was amazing there too :)
it doesn't matter if he didn't have a chance to play a lot on lan (which he did, he is swedish) or if he's not motivated, all that matters is the end result.
it's players in fnatic who said he sucked, you think they would have cut him if they thought he was a great player? haha, the reason he was cut is because he was bad.
i didn't take part in eps nordic ii, but once again, it's just another online tournament, who cares.
GL to wenton as well, hes steppin into big shoes. WF was great the last tournaments.
