Na`Vi has advanced to the grand final of GameGune 2012 to face off against fnatic for 12,000€ after finishing off ESC in the consolidation final (4-16 de_train, 16-11 de_tuscan, 16-7 de_dust2). ESC placed third and won 3,000€.
First map in this new series was de_train where ESC Gaming secured a pistol round win by retaking the inner bombsite after Na`Vi's initial attack and bomb plant. The Ukrainian side went for a forcebuy in round two but without success, as ESC kept extending their lead while Na`Vi tried various different strategies.
Nine rounds in Na`Vi still had yet to get on the scoreboard while Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski bolstered a score of 20/3. Matters would not get better for the Ukrainians, as the Poles' defense was devastatingly good, winning every single round of the half with Jarosław "pasha" Jarząbkowski adding insult to injury by knifing Arzeny "ceh9" Trynozhenko, who was not able to get a frag, in the final round.
Next half's pistol round saw Yegor "markeloff" Markelov and the team's in-game leader Danilo "Zeus" Teslenko combine for four frags as the team got their first round. Na`Vi won the first four rounds of the half with ESC running out of time in a three-on-one situation on round four, but managed to clinch the opening map right after with a 16-4 score.

ESC Gaming in action against Natus Vincere at GameGune 2012
Natus Vincere started de_tuscan on the right foot with a pistol round win despite of Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas' four USP kills. ESC won round four after two save rounds, but Na`Vi's strong terrorist play continued from their previous encounter as they went up 6-1 before the Poles could reply.
Each team traded a round there to make it 2-7, but ESC won the next round due to Jarząbkowski's two FAMAS entry kills and started their comeback. Filip "neo" Kubski elevated his play especially much, finishing the half 14-10 while Danilo "Zeus" Teslenko topped the stats with a score of 17/9 as his team led 8-7 by half.
The team of 2010 won their counter-terrorist pistol round and the following round, but ESC's third round buy proved to be successful as they forced Na`Vi to save and after trading one more round, evened the game up at eleven. That was as close as the Poles would get on Na`Vi's map though, as they went on to win five straight to force a third deciding map.

Two of the game's greatest teams shaking hands
Na`Vi won their counter-terrorist pistol after Jarząbkowski's questionable play in a on-on-two situation allowed Teslenko to defuse the bomb. As GreatFrag's Rahim often says, second round was clean and easy as ESC force bought but were unable to take out any Na`Vi players.
ESC won round four thanks to Filip "neo" Kubski's two kills, but Markelov's team won the next couple of rounds. ESC won two in a row later to make it 3-6, but Na`Vi's superb defense was too much for the Polish side who lost the following four rounds. Na`Vi's four man A defense didn't hold in round fourteen though, but Trynozhenko's two opening frags gave them a 11-4 lead on the round after.
Good teamplay by ESC Gaming secured them the pistol round and Na`Vi's save round, but the latter's bombsite A attack on the third round made it 12-6 in their favor. ESC lost their force buy next, but won a save round with Jarząbkowski having saved his weapon as Na`Vi was caught off guard by their push.
Following round saw Natus Vincere force match point in the series as Teslenko finished off the two last ESC Gaming players in the A ramp. It only took the Ukrainians one match point to finish off ESC though, as they secured a close 2-1 series win with a 16-7 score on de_dust2.Result
