ESEA Invite Season 12 team list
Time: 2012-08-01 07:44
Game: Counter-Strike 1.6

ESEA has announced the team list for its upcoming ESEA Invite Season 12 featuring the usual $18,600 prize pot for Counter-Strike 1.6

Apart from Check Six who announced their disbandment just days ago, all the other top teams from the previous season including the other five teams who made the LAN finals are all once again in the league.

ESEA removes the bottom two teams from Invite each season, leading to INC's and DESiRE's removement. Both priori and Black&Yellow also died during season eleven while Check Six folded meaning the league needed four new teams to fill the gap.

Will swag defend his ESEA championship this season?

A Group of Good Friends, Modus and District7 were initially invited to join the division by the ESEA league admins. Death Clutch then made it in through a fan based voting. Finally, upon Check Six's demise, DESiRE who finished second in fan voting were re-instated in ESEA Invite for season 12.

Most notable change in rosters is Braxton "swag" Pierce's disappearance from reigning champions Maximum Effort's roster. You can find the other teams' rosters by clicking on their profiles here.

ESEA Invite season 12 is expected to kick off later this month as registration has already ended. As always, the season will feature an eight weeks long regular season followed up by LAN playoffs

Cmmon already, I really want to see swag or 100% at at least one upcoming international event. Would be c00L if they went to DreamHack...I guess the whole problem is lack of a sponsor...:(

To win it you mean?

AO did worse last season than the one before it :p
ESEA-I 5th season 9
ESEA-I 8th season 10
And their only skill is in moony and seraphic

Sapphire same thing, only two skilled players, seb and scorpion.

The clear top four are Maximum Effort, UMX, Good Friends, HRG. Last two lan final spots will probably be a battle between Sapphire, Modus, D7, maybe also MSpaz if they put in work this season

AO should do alright actually. You forgot about fluaxon, not sure if hes playing though. If he does play, they have a shot at LAN. If not I don't think they'll make it, although they can still win a good amount of matches imo.

You forget to check all the roster shakeups. That being said...

Modus doesn't have a chance. The only player that is invite material on that team is demos and apparently he isn't even playing anymore. XAN3 is pretty good too, but I doubt they will get more than 4 wins.

Same with D7, they completely mixed up their lineup for some reason, pretty stupid considering all those players put in so much time to try to get to invite, and when they finally make it they don't even play. Makes no sense. No chance they will make it to LAN.

Abunch/Max Effort/UMX will be there for sure, no doubt. Probably mSpaz aswell.

The last two spots are going to be a fight between AO, DC, DESiRE, HRG, ttb and sapphire.

HRG replaced spyro (perez) with hightower, which imo isn't a good shakeup, and might hurt their chances a little.

DC has a decent shot, but I don't think they'll make it without a better 5th player. SanD is good, but not that good.

ttb would have a better shot with mikezor, but they still have a solid chance.

DESiRE is a true dark horse this season, if the 4 asians + phantuz play then I think they will make LAN. HAN's aim is just too fucking good.

sapphire has a good a shot as any, but for some reason I don;t think they will play as much as last season, they will probably focus more on GO, but who knows

I would say the last two spots go to HRG and DESiRE, but we shall see.

Should be a good season :)
