FireCore 4 groups announced

Game: Counter-Strike 1.6

Groups for FireCore 4 taking place on the weekend in Manchester, England have been announced. Notable teams include Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund's ColdGame, Free Agents and more.

Total of fifteen teams have signed up so far and paid the team deposit to guarantee themselves a spot at the tournament taking place at Kyoto lounge on Saturday and Sunday.

Prize distribution:

1. $2,170 + 5x SteelSeries Kana
2. $930 + 5x SteelSeries mouse pads
3. $465 

Format of the tournament will see the teams split up in four groups based on the seeding pools and the top three will advance from each group. From there on out it will be finished in a single elimination best-of-three bracket.

The team called mgL are coming from different parts of Europe. Hooliganz is Mongolian team in UK. Hooliganz participated WCG last year and many other small international tournament in Asia btw.

I remember Hooliganz, they losed only 16-14 against e-sahara in WCG groupstage. They are not bad at all and it's nice to see them again !

Dreamhack usually also featured a french team, and ESWC/WCG most of the time. a hell of a lot better sponsorships/tournament opportunities than in the benelux or eastern europe (with the exception of part of russia/ukraine since the coming of mr arbalet with his cups in kiev :P)
