Eight teams have been selected for the €3,500 SteelSeries GO tournament at Stockholm E-Sport Arena in the Swedish capital this weekend.

Earlier today we brought the list of the 13 teams signed up for the SteelSeries GO tournament, but with room for just eight, the organizers had to decline five of them.

This has now been done and the teams attending what looks to be the first LAN tournament after the release of CS:GO, which is due tomorrow, are as follows:

NWA fRokiZ, ribZ, DexeN, AlexeR, mattouf
whyME KING, ENONEMADE, FireFly, Patrik, dubstep
 Memories MATTTTTI, FIXEL, APO, YNNCK, PnD
 Gamespace.nu vetic, poe, kezi, lagerqvist, clueless
BuggIT navoy, mugg, Berg, twist, cype
 Visby Edman, Bobban, Putte, Snappsen, Edvin
Team AIM_MAP niwen, barsiC, cuber, TBA, TBA

SteelSeries GO will as mentioned take place at Stockholm E-Sport Arena between August 25-26. The eight teams will be devided into two groups of four teams, playing best-of-one map to determine the teams for the playoffs.

Once reaching the playoffs, the remainder of the tournament will be played best-of-three maps in a single elimination bracket.

The winning team will pocket the €3,500 cheque while second and third placed teams will get hardware prizes from SteelSeries.

When asked to run/install the site's java applet remember to uncheck the 'Always trust in Husdawg, LLC content' or similar.

Once you have run the test it can be easily uninstalled through 'Add/Remove'.

switch from team and a game, for an IGL that is huge, so do not expect xizt to be as spectacularly good as he was in fnatic recently, I think he needs a bit of time to adapt. Then again, he is one of the youngest players, so should be able to pick it up fast

I was trying to lower expectations because an inhuman performance like in the last tournament should be impossible when switching from team and game, but on the other hand going back from IGL to a regular player can work in his advantage, now he can again focus on pure fragging.
I raelly like this NiP lu, best of luck! :P

True, but the only way we can predict it is to judge them by their cs/css achievements. But ofc that's also something nice about a new game, nobody really knows who will be good at it ;)
