Team VeryGames has announced the switch from Counter-Strike: Source to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Having already touched CS:GO in Go4CS:GO and other online cups, the French CS:S giants now announce their full commitment to the new CS game.
The change will kick in after Masters Français du Jeu Vidéo, also known as the French Championship, which is due in two weeks time.
Like teams dominated a year out or so in CS 1.6, VeryGames has pretty much been on top of CS:S for the past four years. Of 49 events attended, the French team won 43 of them.

The team now engages into CS:GO, with no changes in the lineup, meaning VeryGames will mount the following lineup:
Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans
Kenny "kennyS" Schrub
Nathan "NBK" Schmitt
Cédric "RpK" Guipouy
Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux
VeryGames head in to lock horns with the 1.6 legends making the switch to CS:GO, testing them at ESWC and DreamHack Winter, which they plan to attending.
The team just last weekend won the CS:S tournament at i46 in Telford, UK, beating mTw's CS:S team to win the first place price of £3,750 or close to $5,950.
You can find all the latest about the team by heading on over to their website, if you read French, or visit their Facebook page for updates, photos and more.

CS:GO it's a new game, anyone dominates the game still. The best player today on GO have a certain amount of skill. That same amount of skill in 4 or 6 months from now will be the average skill for every CS:GO's player. The best players, when the game is dominated, can be any person: 1.6 player, source player or a new player of CS franchise.
All depends of the dedication to learn this new game.
And I believe in the emergence of several new names among the best players of this new game.

so your argument couldn't be more wrong.
1.6 teams >>>>>>> CSS teams, for now the CSS teams have an advantage in CS:GO tough wait till the 1.6 teams get used to the source engine and you won't see a single css team as a top team.
"also not a single time a Source team has won a tournament with 1.6 teams playing. "
Sorry but i had to laugh at this. source teams winning a tournament of WHAT game? 1.6? Wait, were you really expecting a source team to win a 1.6 event? lol at you. I havent seen a 1.6 team winning a source event either so i quite dont get ur point?
1.6 teams > source teams? Sure, in 1.6 yes, not in source for sure. I wanna see you guys beat verygames.. Ive seen 1.6 players saying they are the best they've ever seen and that they play like robots.. The next GO tournaments are all for verygames, and if they get motivated for GO... Ahahah.

you have to take them down, or they'll win every tournament...

They need to adapt to the game and if they do they will be great
your saying this cuz its easyer for css teams to win on go ? or ?

You, on the other hand, have never been even semi-decent, always the weakest link of your team, always the lowest on the scoreboard too, never won any lan (well, you won i42 when all the real topteams were at CPH games 2011, except from a weakened epsilon who didn't even bother playing the game). Many didn't even considered you as a real top player. You were there coz you knew how to be friendly :slurp: with the right people. Look at your line up for i43, all the players who were in it were considered as the finest players in the scene except you, and you ended up top6. GUESS WHO'S FAULT? ;-)

Show me lans you won (except from i42). For a guy who had a 7years carreer, playing with the best players in uk , you have a really weak palmares.

For a team of VeryGames calibure (and let's be honest, they absolutely keen it up and develop strats during matches and before and after matches), then they will be in the top tier of CS:GO.
Salvo was the team who won CGS season 2 and dominated the scene in 2007
Between Reason and salvo, fnatic (dutch lineup) dominated for a year.

Either way, VeryGames will rock CSGO, not because its closer to CSS than 1.6, but because their training, teamwork and tactics were unrivalled in CSS and will continue to be in CSGO.
For me NiP need more team time, then the fight would be pretty cool to see.
VG,mTw and mouz gonna cheer for these teams.
The only names known to me in this post are Ex6TenZ and VeryGames
