French ESWC qualifier announced

The French qualifier for ESWC 2012 has been announced, one French team will qualify for the CS:GO side tournament taking place November 1-4 at Paris Games week.

So far only North America has had a qualifier for ESWC's CS:GO side tournament, but now the Frenchmen will also get to play.

ESWC has announced the qualification process for the French teams, which will run in two phases. First, four community sites will run online pre-qualifiers, each will qualify two teams for the French national qualifier.

For the males, Millenium.org, Esportsfrance.com, Team-AAA.com and Vakarm.net will run the pre-qualifiers, while the females won't have pre-qualifiers, four teams will be inivited directly to the French national qualifier.

The French national qualifier will take place October 31 to November 1 at Paris Games Week. Both the male and female qualifier will have the winning team progress to the two respective ESWC tournaments.

If its the only FPS tournament they are running, it is likely as luckyshot said, to be a similar size to previous tournaments (possibly more if sponsors get interested in a new game???).

Guess it might also depend on the interest in the qualifiers which has so far been insane! Either way, VeryGames to dominate french qualifiers :D

Last year 1.6 had like 50k viewers in the grand final. I really doubt GO will break half of that. And considered both 1.6 and CSS have been dropped,prize should be even bigger.

With the latest update designed around spectators, I very much doubt that will be the case.

not at all lol anexis lineup aim wise is stronger than vg and have the best cssource player of the last 3 years in shoxxie and best aimer screaM, i could see them beating vg

Actually i don't give a any fck about CSS scene, but my friends did tell me that VG are absolutely top 1 on the world in CS:S, idk if that true or not.
