The K1 CS:Online League organisation has announced the four teams who will be playing in Group A, seeing fnatic paired with Chinese giants TyLoo.
The Chinese tournament will take place from September 7 through to November 10 in Shanghai and will run on a format which is similar to the one that was adopted by the World Esports Games, with only two matches being played on the same day at most.
Every team will play against each other three times during the group stage, whose matches will take place on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Group A will end on September 25, and with the semi-finals being played only in November, it means that fnatic will have to return to China after playing at PGS and DreamHack Bucharest in October.
Chinese duo ETeng and New4 are so far the only teams in Group B, which will be played from October 2-25, as the tournament organisation is still trying to find the last two participants.
The exact prize purse has not yet been confirmed by the tournament chiefs, but it is believed that it will be upwards of $30,000.
