HeatoN quits ZOWIE to focus on NiP

ZOWIE GEAR has announced that Emil "HeatoN" Christensen is no longer associated with the company.

The retired Swedish player had been involved with ZOWIE since 2009, joining Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed in promoting the brand and developing new products.

However, he has now decided to part company with the gaming gear manufacturer as he wishes to focus on the Ninjas in Pyjamas project - which he helped to rebuild last month.

"Working with Emil over the past few years has been a great experience, where we have learned much from one of the most legendary gamers through the history of gaming, " a ZOWIE statement read.

"Unfortunately Emil does not feel that he is able to commit the same amount of time and dedication to ZOWIE GEAR anymore, as NiP is taking more of his time than he had originally expected.

"Therefore he has asked to be released of his contract with ZOWIE GEAR, so that he can pursue his dream of making NiP one of the major factors in competitive gaming."

NiP announced earlier in the week that they will compete in the Swedish Championship, which will kick off in October.

CS:S players are MUCH better at CS:GO that 1.6 players. Just see VERYGAMES, mTw, mouz and Epsilon playing against them and you'll see.

CSS have an advantage now, since CS:GO is more comfortable to them, but after a few months that will be totally irrelevant since all the teams will be comfortable with game and know it inside out.
