Game: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

fm-eSports TOXiC have announced that they have added former mTw member Brandon "weber" Weber to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team.

The British player had recently been seen playing for ex-ALTERNATE in the German qualifiers for EPS, helping the team to secure a spot in the league.

He has now opted to return to ToXiC, the team in which he burst onto the scene, filling in for Paul "msk" Kelly, who has allegedly lost his motivation to play on a professional level following the transition from CS:Source to CS:GO.

"Paul has not really taken to CS:GO game-play wise and sadly did not enjoy playing the game as much as he did with source," team captain  Neil "nEiLZiNHo" Finlay told TOXiC's website.

"Hopefully Valve can dish out the updates and they will make it into a game that he will enjoy playing as we would all love to play with him in the future when he regains motivation.

"We are bringing back to fm Brandon "weber" Weber who has been searching for a team since he parted ways with mTw, there was huge interest from both sides when he was removed but the change to the lineup wasn't justifiable until now."

Besides the UK qualifiers for the ESWC, fm TOXiC also plan on attending the ProGamerSeries' CS:GO tournament in Oporto, from October 11-14.

With Weber's addition, TOXiC look as follows:

Neil "nEiLZiNHo" Finlay
George "Zed" Bear
Phil "Whindanski" Nicholas
Jamie "keita" Hal
Brandon "weber" Weber

nice!

have you guys noticed asswell only american and european teams in cs go where are the asian teams lmao?
2012-09-21 00:31:07
Owning it in DoTA2.
2012-09-21 00:48:20
theres a few half decent australian teams
2012-09-21 03:13:55
I hate to burst your bubble but what you think is half decent is actually quite low compared to European standards. I remember watching you're very best on international stage and its not close at all.
2012-09-21 05:51:43
im from the uk for starters, and theyre exactly what i said, half decent, they might be able to challenge to good teams in csgo like some did in source, but i doubt they will make a mark unless they have really taken to the game
2012-09-21 15:46:12
The reality is the country is too far away to play against any high caliber teams. So their "top" guys play against local/low competition and never advance. The Australian scene has always been like this even since the fzer0 days of 2002.

Im sure if they were able to play against international level competition they could get better but its just not possible because the country is so isolated and far away.
2012-09-22 01:15:22
i understand that, but from watching a stream of them, their aim is good and their team work is half decent, what dont you understand about my statement?
2012-09-22 15:19:04
The fact that you are calling them "half decent". Compared to who? Im comparing them to the very top teams which they would get absolutely stomped by. If you compared them to teams like k1ck/x6, these sort of mid level international teams then MAYBE they could be considered "half decent" ie get more than 6 rounds.
