The first Thor Open qualifier came to an end on Friday, with HastaLaVista's victory being overshadowed by accusations that BZSX cheated during the tournament.
BZSX made their way past the likes of AfterShock Crushed, Team X and bemyFRAG before tackling HastaLaVista in the final, which was played on de_train_se.
After losing the first half 15-0, the Swedish team embarked on a sensational recovery and managed to take the match to overtime, which prompted HLV's players to accuse their opponents of cheating.
One of the main issues raised by the teams is that there is no anti-cheating system being used on the servers in which the qualifying matches are being played.
HLV eventually went on to win the match 25-23, but bemyFRAG were not happy with the outcome of their match and put together a clip showing some questionable actions from BZSX's players during the match between the two teams.
What is your opinion about this video? Let us know what you think via the comments box below.
it will not end
they tend to make no money, they do it just to spoil the game or to show it can be done.
i know couple russian programmers who made a lot of money from 1.6 cheats

First of all, xliqz doesnt do cheats to his own AC its plain retarded.
a) He is trying to maintain as good reputation as an AC can have so it will spread more and he can make more money out of it.(obviously) The first few years coding EAC he didnt charge at all for the service.
b) From a coding point of view: If he wanted someone to cheat on EAC he could just block EAC from alarming on that steam_id. He doesnt need to create "private hax" for it .But he doesnt do this either. Cause its conflicting with a) and its plain retarded to
Because xliqz made cheats before, was he able to make a better ANTICHEAT cause he knows how typical cheats work. Rumors like him selling cheats to his own AC are started by retarded people like lurppis who just play CS for 12years and have no clue about how a computer software or hardware works

Camoon guys, nonames with a fake flag suddenly going Neo after 0-15. Obvious
EDIT: lol this is not from the final on train where they were even more obvious

No, but... seriously. Yeah, they don't seem clean.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heT_mp73apk
Watch that, and watch the game.
The finals have to be replayed!
the hitbox bug made CT win, all AWP shots that were off hitted..
no headshots where shot by CT's that whole game? isn't that strange?
http://www.twitch.tv/esplanet/b/334673428
watch from 2h53mins and you will see the bug happening on all the CT shooting.
They have 2 of their members banned there, not only one: https://games4u.se/information/fuskare
At irc ppl who didnt played the event or not against them talked with us to say they are known cheaters in Sweden at css...

Video doesn't prove shit, also as someone posted the recoil is bugged within the demo. Watch everyones demo and you'll find nothing
I dont know if you were cheating. But Im sure about snokz and i also think some of your teammates did.
We won over you and we could easily feel that some of your teammates cheated, because of how you played the sitautions and so on.
But I think the admins got enough material, to show it tomorrow :)
You wouldnt get 1 round if your team mates havent cheated. Looking forward till tomorrow when Fragbite/THOROPEN got the demos ready.
They're just mad, cuz their lost even with cheats.
GL in future.
And this applies to all who agrees with the uploaders.
If we have a chance to get more demos of them you can see how they react when we have bomb planted and diferent situations they know exactly what they need to do, always.

not sure why im so upset seeing as i dont even play CS anymore but i guess someone has to speak up. feeling sad for the people that are still playing and get to suffer through stuff like this in a real tournament....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heT_mp73apk
There will be cheaters in every game.
What I saw on this video was normal...
Post edited 2012-10-07 04:10:15
btw... haters gonna hate

If they truly were cheating, I hope that something happens and proper actions get taken. Then again, to let those who tried smearing another team / player free without punishment does not seem fair if proven innocent. In the eSports world, a reputation matters. If they truly are cheaters, treat them as such. If they are not, I see nothing wrong with an apology to those involved.
In the final against HLV virtually everyone in the stream chat knew it was happening; as did the commentators..

for me this is cheat...
NO bug in the game can explain what happened here, the smoke bug happens when people grenade into the smoke and even then it wouldn't show half the people seen in this clip...
I could understand more if he was standing in the smokes and shooting around them, because there is substantial issues with that at the moment imo, but this guy isn't hes just looking at people straight through walls with peripheral vision.
THREAD CLOSED BAN PLZ.

Wow, half of the frags are people shooting at him through smokes. Anyone with knowledge can register where the bullets are comming from.
Aswell as two of these "pre-aims" are peaks from stupid terrorists who decide to re-peak after two seconds
And you say lizard and bendjii has been banned for cheating. there is not one single scene of them in this "bust".

The final was a diffirent thing, there they were pretty obv.
gg
nasu, twista, spikeone, shatte, essej
they were fucking horrible FYI and im barely good at this game in comparison to some 'top players'
plus we were a mix and we got like 8 rounds in them

Post edited 2012-10-10 21:33:06
i think they even practiced for awhile before that and if i would've done the same with a pre-team then it would have went way better
saatana perkele is all i can say
bah, btw sure other actions are weird
kuben, colon, easy i dont remember others

Theres so many scenes where the autosniper guy from BZSX is just aiming and seeing the enemy just before getting flashed and he gets the kill by just shooting... And the commentator and HLV are thinking its an "obvious hack".
BZSX did play bad as T, but so did HLV... Both held their positions well as CT.
only one round in the entire game was won as T maybe that says something?
Wouldn't the situation be the same if BDZX started CT and got 15-0 then lost 15 rounds in a row?
If they toggled cheats after 0-15 they could aswell win the OT's as Terrorists. But nope they dominated CT which aint that hard to believe
And HLV arent really top players either
Right now they can do nothing.

you guys are like TV, you only show us what you want us to believe. upload avi with the full demo and maybe we can give a decent opinion.

Also it's important to note that I don't base my opinion solely on the fact that this match was a solid 15-0 comeback (in fact that had pretty little to do with it.) The manner in which they played throughout their matches just kept piling on alot of viewers' suspiciousness.
NOTE!!
None of this am I claiming is fully (or at all, even!) conclusive for a few reasons:
a. THIS IS NOT A DEMO WITH WIREFRAME, ITS A STREAM!
b. ALL OF THE FOLLOWING IS SOLELY FROM THE FINAL VS HLV! (some ppl were calling cheats for stuff they did in their previous matches).
c. TALK OF DIFFERENCES IN SPEC VIEW AS OPPOSED TO THE PLAYERS' CAMS DUE TO GLITCHES (?).
NOTE!!
http://www.twitch.tv/esplanet/b/334673428
3:10:10 (this is a part I re-watched because alot of ppl in stream chat called cheats for it, though after reviewing I personally don't think its at all odd)
^ quite a few people in stream chat mistakenly thought snokz was at ivy and prefired this awper t-conn with an auto, but as you can see afterwards snokz IN FACT killed him from Z (lizardp was the one at ivy). The reason I think ppl thought it was snokz at ivy is because you can see sparks on the end of train as soon pimp peaks out towards that direction (I just assume lizardp was shooting towards t-conn because snokz caught a glimpse of the awper before he could finish him off, thus posting him on the minimap. Nothing too unusual here IMO)
3:10:40 (a friend in vent made me note this as he saw some awkwardness in how snokz was moving around at ivy almost in correlation with the terrorist's movements)
^ after snokz gets the easy pick from Z, lizardp dies at ivy, and snokz proceeds to move to cover it. Lingering at the back of train he zooms at ivy right as the enemy is about to peek (check mini) then just lingers around for a bit and gets the pick as nille quick peaks. (again: nothing conclusive)
* 3:13:17 *
^ as nille calls GG waver proceeds to 3v1 clutch, knows 100% where last guy is (I personally, didn't catch waver or his teammates getting a glimpse at this player, so I found this somewhat awkward. Would like to see this on demo..)
3:18:05 (AGAIN: I personally didn't find this fishy at all, but as you can hear the commentators did and by this point in the match the chat was going crazy with cheating accusations.)
^ waver is moving from Z conn to ivy and turns around as nille quickly rotates from ivy after being seen there, waver sets up in ladder and waits (note that waver was playing B and as bomb was down ivy it was logical for him to rotate, what some ppl in chat found fishy was that he set up in ladder shortly after having seen nille at ivy and positions himself perfectly in time for nille as he comes down "take a look at the minimap as nille is walking towards ladder". But again: no cheats here, IMO)
* 3:18:55 * (smoke glitch?)
^ BENDJI kills one through smoke at lower and proceeds to damage another one coming down through TWO smokes (NOTE!!! you can see a grenade explode at the back of the first smoke just as this is about to happen, which could very well have triggered the smoke glitch allowing BENDJI to see through it)
3:20:00 - 3:20:15 (extremely inconclusive, and possibly just random. only included this because the commentators saw something that we can't through the stream)
^ BENDJI apparently kills someone whilst possibly flashed. You can hear the flash pop before he kills him but the camera is on another player, the commentators joke about how BENDJI was flashed. (he then cleans up 2v1 and gets the round with some justifiable play)
3:21:06+
^ lizardp gets a legit kill at ivy without seeing the 2nd player, then does this quick peak and prefires directly at an awper (through the sandbags?) but gets dropped. and as you can see cajunb with the: "god, this is obvious" in chat.
^ (inconclusive) right after this (about 3 seconds) the commentator is literally baffled by something that we can't see snokz pull. from this point on the commentators are pretty consistently talking about the seemingly blatant play from BZSX and most of HLV's players are on the wagon as well.
This is where the OT starts.. some more awkward situations, but as you know HLV ends up winning. At this point in the game I felt as if the player's attitudes toward this joke of a match were actually influencing the way they played: it was just random.. If you really want to have an opinion on whether this team cheated or not: I personally think you should view more than one of their matches in it's entirety. If they DO cheat, they do it somewhat well.
Some of these are points I added because people in vent noted them based on what they saw or how the lot of people in stream chat reacted, a few of these I actually refute the cheating claims: I am speculating based on how I percieved it, please watch and if I missed anything that might have caused me to misjudge a situation please post! I honestly tried to call it as I see it, I have nothing against this team!! I just think that IF they were in fact hacking: there needs to be some sort of justice because some legit teams obviously got wronged :/

Why would anyone risk on theyr professional gaming carrieer to use cheats for sake of winning forsaken match? Unless someone to decides to leave it with a blast by cheating openly, but I don`t see any particular and credible cheating moments at video.
Post edited 2012-10-07 22:25:04
did u see NO CT ever shot an headshot?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heT_mp73apk&fea..
watch that.. this happened in the finals
always the same in CS scene, if anyone kills you with strange move, wallbang, on stairs, with smoke etcetc.. = cheater, when you kill anyone wallbanging, jumping, however.. = pro.
it is hard to accept a loss when you had the match at 1 round for the win, these type of matches always remind to the loser team to never guard down and the winner to never give up.
that's all
Post edited 2012-10-08 00:11:14
maybe they thought the same about you guys first half. "wow this people is awesome" but then you guys guard down. lost important rounds = lose, shit happens, not the first match this happens and will not be the last. video doesn't show anything TBH like #244 said and i said too posts ago, you can find lot of suspicious rounds of anyone from any match. that's simple and that doesn't mean you are cheating.

http://sv.twitch.tv/esplanet/b / 334673428, << - match, it starts at 2:50:00
The hitbox video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v = heT_mp73apk
I do not feel hit by these accusations, but since I know that the others do not cheat, I felt that this was worth pointing out.
