Swag yolo & bitches (SY_b) came out on top of the second THOR Open qualifier with a 16-12 victory over puta on de_train_se.

The Swedish team got off to a flying start in the online tournament, defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas 16-14 in the opening round in what was the first-ever defeat in official matches for the DreamHack Valencia champions.

SY_b went on to defeat the likes of Virtus.pro and FM TOXiC before meeting in the final the Danish mix team puta, who feature former Team xXx member Sune "crZy" Hansen.

After winning the first half 9-6 on the CT side, certainly not the most comfortable of scorelines considering the match was being played on de_train_se, SY_b showed some strong offensive play after the break to run out 16-12 winners.

After the match, we had a quick chat with Andreas "schneider" Lindberg, who explained a bit how this team came to life.

"Basically, it was me and flusha who created the team when we got kicked from hatersg0nnahate " Lindberg told HLTV.org.

"After talking to these guys (old 1.6 friends), we decided to give it a try, and we just clicked instantly. Everyone is really sick individually and also a nice guy to be around.

"When we saw that we were facing NiP in the first game, everyone was like: 'Yeah, sweet, now this day is ruined", but we got round after round, until we beat them.

"We have been playing very well, improving a lot when it comes to tactics over the last week, etc.

"If I expected to win the qualifier? Not at all, I still cannot believe it. It was also a big achievement to be the first team ever to beat NiP in an official game.

"We are not looking for an organisation right now, but who knows? Maybe if SK ask us, we would be open-minded about it.

"Our goals for THOR Open? To win it, of course, and give our cutie devilwalk some LAN experience."
