A new Danish CS:GO team has officially been created under the name puta with a mixture of former 1.6 and CS:Source players.

puta was a regular sight in several 1.6 events back in 2010 and 2011, with the team making their first appearance in CS:GO last weekend in the THOR Open Qualifier, in which they lost to SY_b in the final.

Sune "crZy" Hansen, who was replaced by Johannes "nex" Maget in Team xXx last week, is joined by his former dotpiXels team-mate Nabil "BULI" Rachid in this project.

The other three players come from CS:Source and are Peter "inzta" Kragelund, a former member of fnatic and MoD, ex-Anexis talent Jesper "impulze" Jensen and Mads "whammy" Ottosen, who played for ILDAL.Lions at NetPartyFyn at the weekend.

"After xXx, I received a bunch of offers actually, but I just started playing some gathers again with BULI and started playing more and more with impulze and inzta," Hansen told HLTV.org.

"We then had clicko as our fifth player but decided to go with whammy because of his very good performance at NPF last weekend.

"The THOR qualifier we played with a stand-in was probably the sign for me that these players have a lot of talent.

"I think we have a mixture of some very good players, I really have some high hopes for this line-up - I think we will go a long way with a lot of practice, hopefully ending as the top team in Denmark."

puta are currently on the lookout for an organisation to represent and can be reached at sune1337@gmail.com.

The Danish team, who will attend SLAP LIVE next month, have the following line-up:
