RuSh3D, ProGaming.TD, ESC to ESWC
Time: 2012-10-17 19:28
Game: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

ESWC has invited Russian RuSh3D composed mostly of former M5 players, ProGaming.TD featuring Raphael "cogu" Camargo and ESC Gaming to their 2012 event.

After running qualifiers in only a few regions for spots snatched by Anexis, Area51, ChillTeam, FM.TOXiC, NiP and xXx with the French qualifier yet to take place, the ESWC decided to invite three additional teams.

Both NEO and Dosia get a crack at ESWC 2012 in CS:GO

The teams have now been published on ESWC's website, with Russia, Brazil and Poland gaining representatives at this year's ESports World Cup. They will participate with following lineups:

RuSh3D ProGaming.TD ESC Gaming
Dosia cogu kuben
Fox rkz Loord
hally steel NEO
ROMJkE zakk pasha
seized zqk TaZ

The French qualifier, where VeryGames stand out as heavy favorites, will take place a day before the main tournament begins. With all but the French representative now known for the $20,000 CS:GO tournament, the participant list now looks as follows:

Anexis Area51
ChillTeam ESC Gaming
FM.TOXiC NiP
ProGaming.TD RuSh3D
Team xXx French qualifier

HLTV.org will travel to Paris in two weeks to provide you with full coverage of ESWC 2012's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament taking place on November 1-4 at Paris Games Week.

Good for poles!
2012-10-17 19:28:21
and for Russian, and for Brazilian.
2012-10-17 19:30:25
:D
2012-10-17 19:34:48
and for Danes, Dutchs, British guys, Germans, Americans, Swedes and Frenchy too ;)
2012-10-17 20:15:39
only the Poles, Russian and Brazilian got an invite, as far as I know.
2012-10-17 20:49:24
Looks nice, but sadly RuSh3D and ESC will go without practice. Dunno about cogu's team, Does anyone know if they got enough practice partners in Brazil?

cogu and team are boot camping in Europe currently
2012-10-17 19:32:39
oh yeah, I heard something about that, I think they are playing at Inferno Online, right? this is going to be pretty interesting.
2012-10-17 19:35:02
Thats correct. So they should be ready to go =D
2012-10-17 19:48:12
SBGaming did that too and lost in byoc at dh, but they might be different :D
2012-10-17 20:46:54

2012-10-18 04:34:58

Rush3D are practicing really hard actually. Dunno about the other teams but TD has a 3weeks bootcamp before ESWC
2012-10-17 21:10:12
Rush3D has had most of its players playing 1.6 as play2play.ru lately and they got only 2 weeks to get good at GO if they want to stand a chance.
2012-10-17 21:33:32
Nice
2012-10-17 19:29:54

2012-10-17 21:10:45
mouz has previously had mousesports 1.6 team & source team so why not mousesports.uk & .de teams on cs:go?

2012-10-17 20:04:16
prolly yes :/ france had solid players the last years after aAa disbandment ofc they could do some damage at GO for sure

majer, sixer, msx, rigo, harts, iorek, yoshi, drizzer, cosmo & more they could do smth
2012-10-17 21:51:38
most of them dont like csgo
2012-10-17 22:08:50
iorek was tested by a top team (the current eXtensive) but it didn't work for him.
2012-10-17 23:23:59
Yeah too bad most of them will stop now :(

Good to.see the in your head guys active though! :p
2012-10-17 23:34:59
indeed its too bad :/ we've (as a 1.6 community) lost a lot of great players..lets hope that players from other games to participate in this GO thing and be a decent game in a year or so
2012-10-18 12:17:57
Yeah!
2012-10-18 18:44:11
Seems like, they are not involved in any team or even mix afaik.

2012-10-17 19:37:25
would be cool to see a finish and norwegian team aswell
2012-10-17 19:41:02

2012-10-17 19:48:41
awesome!!! cogu is back!
2012-10-17 19:49:47
NiP vs ESC :>
2012-10-17 19:52:05
finally a GO match that worth watching... althought i think cogu won't be good
2012-10-17 19:58:44
Surely he can't be as good as in his prime in 1:6, but he will be good if you don't use "old cogu" standards
2012-10-17 20:00:53
from what i saw, he's not on his team level yet
2012-10-17 20:53:34
Yeah but 4 source top players is hard to work up against i guess in csgo for a 1.6 veteran who quit years ago. I hope they will give him time and he will get back to insane play :)

mTw vs. xXx was also 'worth watching' for sure! :)

i forgot to add "for me". i tried to watch mTw vs xXx, tho, but got bored after that delay
2012-10-17 22:46:39
Looking forward to watch it
2012-10-17 19:59:07
Defo nip or esc will take it. hopefully valve will release hltv client before eswc starts.
2012-10-17 19:59:40
Oh yeah Esc :D
2012-10-17 20:04:07
Nice >DD
2012-10-17 20:04:33
better invite Swag Yolo Bitches then some random brazilians :(
but for CS:GO in south america is it good
2012-10-17 20:04:48
next news: f0rest refuses to go to eswc because he is afraid of neo
2012-10-17 20:08:35
haha
2012-10-17 20:09:39
f0rest never said he's afraid of anything. Neo on the other hand...
2012-10-17 20:29:33
I will run naked to Sweden if NiP doesn't win

2012-10-17 23:38:53
So far so good!
2012-10-17 20:09:37
GO ESC ! ALWAYS WITH U
2012-10-17 20:10:45
Only 20000??
2012-10-17 20:11:58
for a side tournament ;)
2012-10-17 20:42:44
As a new game or a replacement of 1.6, 20000 is too littile... So CS:GO is already dead.
2012-10-17 20:59:11
make 1 000 000 tourney in 1.6 then, smartass
2012-10-17 21:21:26
When cs first comes out, only the 1st pirze of wcg, eswc or cpl is at least 40000. OK 45,000 in total is huge for you new players then. Peace out~
2012-10-18 02:26:19
It's not even a MAIN TITLE at ESWC, it is a SIDE tournament, $20,000 is enough for now.

DreamHack Winter has $45,000 which is in November at present, not sure how you can call the game "dead" on the prize money at hand atm.

2012-10-17 20:16:29
French Qualifier?

Already taking place or still to take place?

Verygames much expected to be the last team!!
2012-10-17 20:16:43
Takes place on 31st October & November 1st according to the ESWC website.
2012-10-17 20:30:31
The french team will probably be VeryGames (Ex6TenZ, SmithZz, kennyS, RpK, NBK), Millenium (Oztriker, shox, ScreaM, Uzzziii, h0rks) or eXtensive (apEX, EMSTQD, mshz, skall, Maniac).
3 really great team, I think it will be hard for vg...

all I have to say
Poland Stronk Sweden wronk neo > all pasha biceps
2012-10-17 20:29:37
Haha, laughable invitees, but wouldn't expect anything else given their criterias
2012-10-17 20:32:02
who do u expect to get an invitation?
there is no other good teams out there
2012-10-17 20:37:13
Loads of teams that are better than ESC as CS:GO, and given that Rush3D have less playing time than ESC I'd assume they're even worse.. The choices they've made are obviously to get more viewers purely based on the names of the players, but it'll make for worse games by far, and that sucks.
2012-10-17 21:30:28
could you name a few?
2012-10-17 21:46:06
WinFakt, team_X, mouz (even though they lost to fm.TOXIC), Copenhagen Wolves.. just to name a few.

As for Rush3D, afaik they were asked to play for the spot (by other russian teams) and pretty bluntly said they'd just "buy it" through the applications - because no other team in their country can compete with their achievements from 1.6.. The way the invite went out are pretty dull, because in theory players like REAL could just send an application saying he'll play with prb & <insert 3 players>, and nab an invite, even though they haven't touched the game, but want to attend ESWC :E

TD is a fair enough invite, they have actually played the game for some time now.
2012-10-17 23:19:10
as far as i know esc has been playing go for a while now and even if they are bad @ pracc(they are known for being much worse online)that doesnt really mean much,so we will see.
2012-10-18 00:05:55
While practice results doesn't mean anything, you get a certain clue of whether they know what they are doing or not. Of course, they could be running one single strat for the entire game for practice sake, which in turn makes them seem daft, but you get a sense as to whether or not they're able to hit their shots or not regardless.
2012-10-18 01:13:57
you said it yourself it doesnt mean anything and dont get me wrong i am not their fan(f0rest ftw:D)until they play an official match we can only speculate, but for instance winfakt, teamx, mouz havent really done that much and considering esc history and them being notoriously well prepared for the biggest tournaments their invitation shouldnt come into question, however rush3d maybe could.
2012-10-18 02:14:45
A team could obviously be bad online, and practice results doesn't mean anything - however, if they're not able to even touch you in the easiest set of scenarios you can tell whether or not they are decent or not.. Of course, they could be a whole other animal at ESWC, hopefully they are - because if not ESWC will look dumb for overlooking better teams - but I can only base my opinion on own experiences, and that's what I have done.

You are correct in saying that WinFakt, team_X and mouz haven't done all that recently, but neither has ESC, in fact, they have done a lot less. If history should mean anything, then mouz shouldn't be discarded, as they won the last big CS:S event held, as well as finishing high up in any event they attend. It's fair to point out that ESC are reknown for preparing well and so on, but that was in a game they've had years and years of experience with. If you recall the beginnings of PGS, it took a while before they hit their stride and started winning, and with ESWC being played in a game they haven't had that luxury with, I'm not too optimistic about their performance.

With all that said though, they're gonna be amazing if they put in the time and effort after a while
2012-10-18 02:29:12
we will just have agree to disagree on the pracc topic,as for mouz maybe they should have been invited,i dont really know that much about TD and surely Rush3d wont be prepared for this event.
2012-10-18 03:41:52
That's fair, hope for ESC & ESWC's sake they do well, can only wait and see! :D
2012-10-18 03:46:11
Even in 1.6 ESC used to loose pracc games, sometimes as high as 16:0 a week before the tournament, but then go to the tournament and win it.

Im not saying they are my favourites to win.
2012-10-18 09:22:56
ESC haven't faced these teams officially yet, how can you say that?
2012-10-18 00:07:23
I've played vs. them (albeit not very recently, but there would have to be a huge leap in skill for them do justify being invited)..
2012-10-18 01:14:39
they can...
if you see f0rest being the best at DH Valencia, who is quoted to beat f0rest&co. is neo&co.
2012-10-18 03:02:00
At DH Valencia he was only his teams 3rd best player during the playoff (most of his frags came in the groupstage vs. bad spanish teams, which is why he was 1st overall at DH).

Anyhow; I've played loads with and vs. f0rest after he switched over to CS:GO, and he's been waaay better than Neo ever since he started
2012-10-18 14:15:02

Yeah I also dont understand some ppl here acting like 20k is nothing...

rush3d go
2012-10-17 23:45:58
Nice to see ESC going. Rush3D... eh. I feel like place2play isn't quite done in 1.6 yet. As for ProGaming, I feel like that spot should've gone to Fnatic. I believe they are converting to CS:GO before ESWC begins.
2012-10-17 23:47:46
ProGaming is already in Inferno Online and they will train for 49 days to ESWC and DH, fnatic will attend just DH.
2012-10-17 23:54:49
fnatic still didn't touch to the game, how can eswc give them invite? It's like try to give invite to team3D.
2012-10-18 04:45:29
They're converting to GO soon. Whether it's before or after ESWC, I forget. If it's before, then I feel like they should've been given a chance.

What kind of point to give the spot to the team which never played this game before? Look at this http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/765611979656985.. do you really think that they can do some damage in new game with such of hours stats?
2012-10-18 11:34:47
They'll be playing k1 league in november 1st week and then they'll switch to CSGO. So, NO to them.
2012-10-18 11:02:14
and obviously VeryGames from France unless same shit happens to them like it happened to mousesports
2012-10-17 23:54:12
League of Legends prize pool - 4kk
CSGO - 20k?

well done!
2012-10-18 00:47:16
Hopefully VeryGames will win the french qualifier, I'd to see SY_b guys there too..
2012-10-18 00:50:21
ESC don't have any chance to get in TOP3 they should pick up other team
2012-10-18 01:59:25
We'll see what happens then.
2012-10-18 02:29:04
I will laugh hard if VeryGames dont make it.
2012-10-18 04:28:25
Don't get the spot or don't win the tournament?

It's a shame esc and rush3d probably wont come out of the groups, nip especilly and other teams will have alot more hours than them, just hoping to see neo's raw skill take them through,if they get out of the groups its an archivement right now imo.
