Invites and qualifiers for DH Winter
DreamHack has announced more info regarding the $45,000 CS:GO tournament taking place at the winter edition of the Swedish event, naming six invited teams and announcing qualifiers.
Sixteen teams will take part in the tournament running November 22-24 in Jönköping, Sweden. Ninja in Pyjamas and fnatic qualified by winning DreamHack Valencia and Bucharest respectively. The organizers now release the names of six invites teams, making the participants list look as follows:

Another two teams will be invited at a later stage, making it a total of eight invited teams. Regarding the invite process Tomas Hermansson from DreamHack stated:
"In a new game like CS:GO we're obviously not inviting teams based on previous results and achievements. This is a totally new competitive scene and we’re looking for established organisations and find a good mix of countries, skill and competition. The last two invited teams will probably be non-European both of them"
Regarding qualifiers, there will be three of them, one of which will take place here on HLTV.org. One qualifier will be hosted by Fragbite.se and restricted to Swedish teams only. One slot for DreamHack Winter will be up for grabs. A qualifier restricted to Danish teams will be hosted by Gaming.dk and will also have one slot for DreamHack Winter.
Our qualifier will have two slots and will not have any country restrictions. More info about our as well as the other qualifiers will be announced soon.
More info surrounding the tournament has also been announced, such as the casting lineup on site in Jönköping. The casting team will consist of:

The BYOC qualifier, which will qualify the last two teams of the 16 participants will on November 22, find more info on how to register by clicking here.

The CGS with no serious competence? I mean, no one took seriously the CGS, not even the few 1.6 pros that made the switch. Are you really proud of winning a tournament of a new game that had literally 0 competence? I know the money was good but... you did nothing playing 1.6 or against 1.6 pros, why would you be so proud about something eSports don't take seriously?

CS;GO is the future , this game has it all. CS 1.6 is dead none of those players matter anymore, CSS players are and have always been more mature and better as gamers.
Nip won verygames when they had barely played the game, when they had played months together. well though ESC might not yet be at the level of Drunken Globus or other top teams around the world.. 16-6 are not that big numbers, It could've been 16-12 with just 3 round wins(like 1on1, which cannot be seen on an end result) that force an eco. on bo1 the tight situation clutches make a huge difference.

actually the EPS is a league like CAL, doesn't matter if you lose a match, you only need to qualify for the playoffs and win your way to the finals.
ESC was like unbeatable for years, thats why people talk about them losing a match. The result of that match however is very meaningless to determine who wins EPS Poland.

I find corey do be extremely boring and clueless these days, even though Rahim is not profesional (neither tries to be) he's much more entertaining than duNn and I'd probably choose his stream over dunn's.
duNn is outdated, this is not 2002 where CS was all about shooting styles and controlling your recoil. You need much more than that now, so in lack of commentators with good understanding of the game I'm chosing Rahim, 9 times out of 10.

I agree corey has lost his edge, but I get so annoyed with rahim I turn it off after 10 minutes usually, so I really cant think of commentators who are not better than rahim for me. even dunn on slowmotion mode :P
