The MYM 1v1 QCUP is set to take place from 18th of September until 1st of October and will see 16 of Europe's finest battling it out to win 1000€.

The MYM QCUP is a Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament hosted by MeetYourMakers.com and QPAD. It will see sixteen players in four different qualifiers playing against each other in a single elimination bracket system.

The event will be held from September 18th through to October 1st. The results in the qualifiers will determine the position in the final bracket. On the final day, there will be a Grand Final with the four best players from each qualifier advancing to the finals.

The tournament format will be played in a best of three style with max rounds of 20. The first player to reach 20 frags twice will win the match. Single elimination will be adopted so once you lose, your out!

Since it's online anything can happen. The winner of the first qualifier, could be Sunde. He's an amazing aimer, which I think he proved at ESWC.
The winner of the second qualifier, could be blomstar, since he won the QPAD Tour in Sweden.

But as I said, it's online anything can happen, and I'm sure it will. Will be exciting to follow these 1v1 on HLTV.

an event like this is really gna be awesome :> not only will we find out what it really takes to be a top player (their accuracy/reactions/timing/speed/positioning) but we will see some of our favourite players doing it!

personally, for Q#1 i think REAL is a strong contender as is Sunde ... its a shame they will face eachother so early in the qualifier. for Q#2 i wudnt underestimae KF3. it was his aim/accuracy that got him into NiP and only the distance that got him removed. my vote goes to kf3 for q#2 hands down
