ESC Gaming win SLTV StarSeries IV
ESC Gaming has defeated Virtus.pro 2-0* (16-7 de_mirage_csgo, 16-6 de_nuke_ve) in the best-of-five grand final of SLTV StarSeries IV finals to clinch the first CS:GO season's title and $6,000.
The Poles continued strong counter-terrorist play on de_mirage_csgo as they once again scored into the double digits with a 10-5 lead at half, but unlike in the upper bracket final where they lost after a 12-3 lead, this time they followed through with a 6-2 second half.

With their backs against the wall, having to win the next three maps in a row to have a chance at the title, Virtus.pro started off as terrorists on de_nuke_ve and only managed to score five rounds at half.
Filip "NEO" Kubski's team was once again able to retain their lead, as they held the second 10-5 lead as well, winning 6-1 as terrorists for a 3-0* (ESC started the series up 1-0 due to winning the upper bracket) series sweep.

SLTV StarSeries will return in 2013 with an announcement regarding the next seasons of its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments.

I still find it hard to believe how some of you guys thought that ESC couldn't raise their level, the very best and most consistent lineup of CS history, maybe you're all just too young :p the same way that na'vi can do damage if they pracc hard and just enjoy the game. And sure there's still the "nip" level, but finally some teams "closing" by.

How can you say ESC are "closing" by NiP's level when they just won a tournament with absolutelly no big cs:go names whatsoever? I mean... who didnt saw this coming? The last game beetwen the teams ended up in what.. a 16-1? 16-3? Something like that. And that result is not the first time it happened. I would say theres NiP level, then VG, and then the rest still. Theyre closing up to VG level only.

Yeah they are arguably, but in my humble opinion they are not the most skilled/best lineup in cs history. I dont know i feel NiP is getting even more out of control so-to-speak, but i totally agree they are gapping into VG, cant wait for like 3/4 teams to be at NiP's level, then the spectacular matches we were used to watch in 1.6 will be "replicated"

TaZ is the only one in ESC who is at NiP's level of skill IMO. I've always liked taz alot but since they changed to GO he has been a true beast and a fantastic person by watching his interviews. Really hope ESC the best and hopefully the rest of the players can achieve taz level soon

Ive been saying ange1 into navi for years, despite a break this year he proved to have amazing skills, in the new CS version aswell. although I think this team is great for him aswell, with time this VP can do real damage. star studded line-up
