n!faculty came out on top of Epsilan 10's tournament for female CS:GO teams by defeating eXtensive Ladies 2-1 in the Grand Final.
While the community was paying attention to the male tournament at Epsilan, which was won by VeryGames, in Champagne-au-Mont-d'Or there were also five female teams in attendance, who battled it out for the first prize of €700.
n!faculty were the only non-French side in this tournament, and they proved their superiority over the other contestants early on, as they topped the group stage, played in round-robin mode, with 12 points from four matches and an impressive +36 round record.
In the playoffs, the German team defeated LDLC.com to secure a showdown against eXtensive!, who beat Millenium in the semi-finals, in the Upper Bracket final.
n!faculty got off to a flying start, winning de_mirage_csgo 16-2, but then eXtensive! levelled the tie after coming out on top on de_nuke_ve with a 16-14 scoreline. The decisive map was de_inferno_se, and here the German team were the better side, winning the final map 16-11.
After defeating Millenium in the Consolidation final, eXtensive! earned a rematch against n!faculty, but once again the German side gave a great account of themselves and won de_nuke_ve 16-14 to clinch the top prize.

Below you can find a statement from n!faculty captain, Antonia "antonia" Jilek:
"We did it! We are so happy that we have won our first offline tournament after practicing for only one month," she said.
"In my opinion, I can say that we did a really great job this tournament. We didn't know each other before so it was very hard to get to know how everybody played during. So this last month we were playing nearly every day.
"I am really happy to be on this team and everyone plays well and is a nice person. I can say that we really deserved to win because we did not have a loss and we won almost every match rather easily.
"Epsilan was a good preparation for the upcoming events, like Copenhagen Games. I would like to thank everyone that supported us, especially n!faculty, PsYcHo, disruptor and Markus.
"Finally, I would like to thank all those that cheered for us! Don´t stop doing that because if you believe in us we will never stop fighting! See you in Copenhagen!"
