Its very late now, and I am awake following the "supposed to be" A class event called MadCatz CS:GO Inv. This event has Heaven Media behind it.

Right now, I can tell you that:

1) the delays are over 9 hours, thats right.

2) ESC gaming is still playing a map, and has to play another map after it. If they advance (or whatever team advances), they will have no more than 3 hours of sleep (maybe less if you consider taking shower, etc...) before waking up and getting ready for another day of gaming. I think you will agree, that no team can perform 100% under this scenario, so that already takes away the prestige of the event.

3) The casters (Richard Lewis, Jay, etc) simply decided to gave up, and go to sleep, when there were still important matches going on, including the ones deciding the fate of ESC gaming. Funny how the players need to stay up all the way till the end, and accept the delays, but the lazy casters just shut it off and go to bed. Sure we will hear excuses, but for me, this attitude is bad for sponsors and for the viewers.

4) Right now, even with the absurd delays, is providing full real time coverage of the event, reporting results, and everything of the remaining matches of the day, including ESC's fate. Meanwhile, I have open on my browser right now, and you would expect they to be keeping up with the delays, trying to at least make it look better, since Heaven Media is their owner, reporting what is going on, but instead, you see they took the same road as the casters. They simply go to bed, don't update shit, don't report shit, don't keep up with the delays. Maybe thats what they call "good coverage" ?

Problems always happens, and sometimes delays are there, and we are even used to it. But the usual delay goes between 1 to 2 hour MAX. When you have a 9 hour delay something is SERIOUSLY WRONG. I can't even imagine how stressful this event is being for the players... Its just, not acceptable, no way.

Its just funny how loves to critizise people, the last one being rizC. How about they look into their very own belly and see that they are not doing it any better.

Maybe this situation is acceptable for source players, I don't know, but 1.6 players and fans are used to much better events. And btw, last time nix0n was in charge of a DreamHack event (thats right, DreamHack, not some madcat WHO?) everything run flawless, go think about that.

Anyway, feel really sorry for the players, specialy ESC players. I hope they can rest some hours, and really bring a good game tomorrow if they advances, but it will be hard, its just sub-human conditions, very sad.
Couldn't agree more. It's just ridiculous that ESC/TCM get around 4-5 hours sleep now. ONE of delay, It's just hilarious. Though the little hate-sentence there with "maybe this situation is acceptable for source players" isn't really needed, don't you think so? :)

Xl i was playing 5am semi-finals upper bracket and i had another game 10 am so ... its normal
2013-02-24 13:38
i think the sentence falls into the right place. 1.6 players/followers arent used to 9-hour delays and expect better. this is not good enough for us it's "hateful" towards heaven media, not source anyway
2013-02-24 14:08
you act as if source players are used to 9 hour delays :P
2013-02-24 14:47
i dont :) in fact i have no idea what sourcers are used to, i'm merely stating the expectations of 1.6ers
2013-02-24 14:57
fair enough then.. :)

They went to sleep @ 4 and need to be up by 11. Should be minimum 6 hrs sleep. Not ideal but it happens. I thought the stream was great.
2013-02-24 04:37
Not to mention taking a shower, getting ready and eating breakfast. Also not to mention they have to leave the venue after their matches and get ready for bed. They barely get 5 hours of sleep.
2013-02-24 04:38
It's nothing compared to Northcon, we had 3 hours sleep in 2 days

Eh? Worst casters I've ever listened to. They don't describe what's happening, talk gibberish, no emotions in their tone.. I wish for the ESL team to cast it (Red Eye + Miller) or even ESPLANET but wtv..
2013-02-24 05:31
Agree 100%, this event is just a mess, can you imagine how the players are feeling? Its just absurd, and they want e-sport to grow, with this amaturish set up? What about those casters hitting the FUCK buttom and going to sleep, when the players need to stay up and play all the delayed games? How are the sponsors feeling about the shut down stream? What about the fans? What a fucking failure of an event.
2013-02-24 04:43
Cant see how it would be different for source players. Stupid remark, in an somewhat okay blog. I agree that it comes off as lazy and unprofessional when the streamers closes down the coverage before time. And indeed if they are the guys behind this event, it is just that bit more hypocritical to let the players play, when they themselves quit. Looking forward to a great day tomorrow though. Hope they've learned from their mistakes. Whatever they were.

2013-02-24 04:48
The coverage of is just TOP NOTCH. Even with all the delays, is the only website providing descent real time coverage. RESPECT, is really the only home of Counter-Strike. Regarding this event, ESC guys will probably sleep for 3 hours maximum... consider shower, eating, logistic, getting early for hardware setups, etc, etc... No way you can perform 100% under that scenario. The event is already fucked up.
2013-02-24 04:50
rizC would have casted those matches till the end, pretty sure of that. He was even casting some irrelevant online matches back in the day, when no one even cared... We miss you rizC, hope you get back in the game soon. shitty event, nothing more to add.

2013-02-24 05:59
few things i'd like to add: There are hundreds of things that can cause delays, not all delays can be helped. If a PC or switch blows up you are going to have delays. Not saying this happened here, but you cannot instantly blame the event organizers for ALL delays. Secondly, regarding the sleep thing. In this case you don't need to worry about "transport to and from the event" the event is in the same hotel as where they are standing. So literally seconds away. Packing up that night and setting up the next morning also probably won't take place. Since they are playing the next day. I would assume they could just leave their stuff plugged in (assuming no seating conflicts).

Wow! This is bad form. I was watching the last match on the stream and Richard said "I think we still have 1 more match" but the producer was going "No No No!" and Richard was smiling and saying OK wont argue with that" and they shut down for the night. So the "e-athletes" have to put up with continuing on but the production just goes 'fu*k this, its too late". and leaves. To me thats just really poor attitude.
2013-02-24 07:26
Spot on man, spot on! Have to agree with GoMeZ about the delay part, but 9 hours delay is just absurd!

So the casters left? :D That sounds funny considering they didn't want SLTV to cast Na'Vi's games so their stream could get more viewers and then they shut down the stream when the games were still on.

2013-02-24 09:16
1)Casters so boring=/ 2)Situation with russians, when we wanted to watch games of our teams we can't do it because of stupid rule: "don't cast the same which casted by owners". We had a national holiday yeasterday and we wanted to relax with good russian casters(SLAM and v1lat). When russian stream had about 8k of viewers, eng stream had 7. Yesterday slam said to organizators that he want stream on their channel and money with statistics were given to them. Yes we had an another stream by VP, but they were so tired and not funny as was slam. 3)Delays. They broke our holiday. 4)It's too hard for ESC pass the playoff... 5)They lost about 50% of community.

Retard Blewhis and his crew strikes again.
2013-02-24 09:22
Being on-site I can tell you guys a few things: 1. Delay There were massive computer issues which just needed some time to solve, some of them just would come back, for example pasha's computer crashed 3 times, the replacement one crashed two times, all that within two hours. The staff here is running around all day trying to fix every problem, I can see them now and they had no more than 2-3 hours of sleep, still they are trying to help out every single team, f.e. they moved TCM's computers to where they are going to sit later, just to safe them time on set-up so they can get more sleep. It's not like the HM guys are sitting here and delaying games on purpose. 2.) Players I really haven't heard any serious complain by one of the teams, not even TCM or ESC, especially the later one were knowing that their problems were taken care of and that there were people working their ass off to get everything fixed and appreciated that. Of course it sucks for everyone trying to spectate the event and for us on site aswell but it that is what may happen. Just wait for more interviews and you will hear that the players are, unlike you guys, not blaming the HM guys and still think the event is quite nice. 3. Streaming Cant comment on that as I really havent seen the stream but I guess they decided to get some rest to be able to provide the best broadcast for the final day.
2013-02-24 09:27 real casters! its a lifestyle! not about money and viewers (cadred)
2013-02-24 09:35
nobody cares about go, that's why this nice things happen' aahahahahahhaha worst game ever
2013-02-24 09:37
1) The second group stage was scheduled to finish at around 11 o'clock, it ran on until what, 4? So that's not exactly nine hours of delays. Although it's not ideal this kind of thing happens. 2)That's quite simply a lie, ESC Gaming had finished playing by 4am and their first match of the morning is scheduled to start at 10. 3) The casters left because unlike the players they aren't working out of the hotel they're sleeping in and have to commute to and from the studios in Milan. 4) That's just nonsense as I sat up and personally updated the matches and groups on Cadred as it happened. The delays aren't really acceptable but when you're working with so much new equipment that's been set-up specifically for the tournament you're bound to run into a few hiccups. The admin team have worked their asses off to keep the tournament running as smoothly as possible and they managed to run the last event in Prague with a total of like 1 hour delay, so it's not like they don't know what they're doing. This witch-hunting is getting ridiculous though, seems to be the same few people making thread after thread which all stems from your hatred of Cadred and/or Richard. Yet most of what you're saying is completely exaggerated or just completely fabricated.

Welcome to the internet, where the main objective for people is beating a dead horse.
2013-02-24 11:48
People here are biggest shits ever and terrible community. Delays - are everywhere. And statement that this is bigest delay ever s just ridiculous. Look at IEM. a Company like IEM was once suposed to shut down day1 on one of their biggest events. Delay were so big that this is nothing in comparsion. And again this HLTV comunity only blaming and leeching on others. Tell me hows HLTV own events doing ? OH WAIT THERE ARE NONE. Ye thats right always biggest shits who done nothing flaming most.
2013-02-24 09:56
HLTV always supported events. And that's why we all here, not on cadred or somewhere else. This LAN is shit. Casters are shit. And they ban other casters like little kids. That second group stage is shit. For what? To show more games on stream? But they went to sleep before it ended.
2013-02-24 10:14
ur delusional SSSR kid. all your point are retarded. - casters are about opinion. I personali like em. - Second groupstage is shit ? - stronk argument. - ban other casters cos of retarded russian casters cant keep the deal. + Even after those retarded russian they were so kind that they alowed em again. - they went to sleep for last fuckin game. I dont know which one i saw VG vs serbia then i went sleep. There was only last matches from other group which wasnt streamed so ur making a big deal of nothing.
2013-02-24 10:24
Yeah I bet you do the same on your job. You say: "It's last fuckin hour. I'm tired, I'll go home". Have you ever get a job btw, 23-years old kid?

I understand that common hygienic rules which says that people cant work xx hours without xx hours of sleep doesnt exist in russia.
2013-02-24 10:35
Mad cuz noob stream didn't follow some simple agreements rofl.
2013-02-24 13:36
What an absolute shit of event. They should hire more competent people to do the work the next time.
2013-02-24 11:11
boring cynical hate-train again and again. time to grow up.
2013-02-24 11:13
I have tried to follow this event (I decided to give GO a chance, I don't really like it), but I just gave up. Too many problems, delays, lack of information, completly disrespect to the public with casters simply leaving the stream (an giving the most bullshit excuse for it, as usual), its just bad. It really takes away all the fun when you need to sit hours and hours looking at a black screen in the stream saying there are delays, etc... The event is just ruined for the public, and pretty sure its stressful as hell for the players. The people behind this event should learn from the more experienced event organizers how to do a proper job on a lan. In fact, the first step would be to act like a man, recognize the flaws, and work on it, not trying to miserably find bullshit excuses for their own failures.
2013-02-24 11:19
Also to touch on some other points: 1) Total delays saw us 5 hours behind schedule not 9. 2) "Rizc would cast to the end" - he recently left HKLAN before the finals because it was too late for him to stay and it was Cadred staff that stepped in to make sure the final had a stream.. 3) As for shutting the stream down before the end of the final match, the team in Milan had casted for 16 hours straight while the technical staff worked for even longer in order to get things set-up and then packed down. It's also not as simple as just switching off the stream and rolling into bed, they had to commute to and from their hotel to the studio. You talk about "Inhumane conditions" for the players after 5 hours of delays, should those guys really be expected to work for longer and get less sleep before the casts this morning?
2013-02-24 11:37
Just to clarify; the reason we had to leave was because I had to catch a ferry, not because rizc was tired etc. ;) But he did also leave before the last map of a bo3 on the first night after having casted solo for 10 hours straight. And agree with your edit - people tend to forget the work put into a stream, and how exhausting it is to be on air for such long time.
2013-02-24 11:53
Denmark rizc
Totally agree with everything you say, but i left HKLAN because we had to go (Phoinx going on vacation, if we didn't leave, he would miss his ferry) and we told the organizers that we had to leave before 2AM months before the tournament started. But yet, you can't guard yourself against delays. Also, yes Victor did cast the final, but it wasn't "Cadred Staff" that stepped in to make sure the final had a stream. We asked Whisenhunt to run the stream, which he thankfully could do, and then we spoke to Victor who recently had shown interest in casting. And by the way, for people who doesn't know - the casters been at their job since 10AM in the morning to whenver the stream shut down. They had to be on the ball at all times while the players had breaks etc while other groups played. And yes, it is actually way harder (more exhausting) to cast a game than just watch it. (Just for those saying that they could have carried on etc).
2013-02-24 11:47
Oh I'm not saying that you guys shouldn't have left, just pointing out how retarded the double-standards are from a large section of this community :P
2013-02-24 12:07
Denmark rizc
Yeah, just pointing it out (since sometimes you have to cut everything out for people on the internet). But yeah, double standards WOOO!
2013-02-24 12:25
2) "Rizc would cast to the end" - he recently left HKLAN before the finals because it was too late for him to stay and it was Cadred staff that stepped in to make sure the final had a stream.. Funny how you forgot to mention that rizc went out of his way to organise another caster to cover the final so the spectators werent put out at all and got to watch it. Where as HeavenMedia have a habit of blocking anyone else casting/covering their events (The 'too full' for drama, passwording GOTV relay, etc..). The reputation you guys have on other sites where people have the freedom to express their opinions without getting banned for it (something I guess your not used to seeing over at cadred) is entirely your own fault.
2013-02-24 12:15
One of the casters RizC sought out to cover that final was a Cadred employee who stepped in to help... I've already wrote so many replies regarding the too full for saga so I'm bored talking about it, if you want an idea of how tight space was for media at that venue watch our video tour. Anyone who goes to the expense of hiring out a studio and paying a team of casters to fly out and cover an event will do so under the proviso they can pick and choose the games they want to cast, exclusive rights to cast certain games is a normality in e-sports and we've seen it CONSTANTLY down the years (MLG, IPL, ESL etc). When an agreement was broken we passworded the TV's (for around an hour) while we figured out the best plan of action. We then decided that while opening up all of the TV's could cost the official stream viewers it wasn't worth ruining the event for the community. I don't see how that is a bad thing and anyone who sees it that way doesn't understand how business works.
2013-02-24 12:32
Theres nothing wrong with being about the $$$, but just dont claim to be about the "community" and "trying to grow the community". One of the casters RizC sought out to cover that final was a Cadred employee who stepped in to help... Not sure why you had to mention this but thanks to jimmy for stepping up. Pity you guys couldnt do the same and get someone to cover your remaining match/matches. Oh well, I guess the spectators get screwed over again because of more HM politics. Never had to deal with this sort of play from 1.6 events...
2013-02-24 12:53
There were about four streams running throughout the day and night, while GOTV was available for everyone to watch, so we didn't need to seek out "cover". How the fuck did the FACEIT TV stream closing down before the final round of matches screw over spectators in ANY way? At the end of the day HM have pumped roughly $35,000 into the CS:GO scene in the past two months and did their best to make the events enjoyable for spectators and fans, yet received nothing but shit from a very vocal and toxic portion of the community for reasons I really don't understand. It's fucking boring.
2013-02-24 13:05
Rickeh... why are you arguing with these guys dude.... they hate HM, they also don't understand and won't change their opinion. :P
2013-02-24 13:12
Because most of the community don't say shit and it looks like what these guys are saying is actually warranted when it clearly isn't.
2013-02-24 13:13
No. Most of the community that does say shit simply gets banned from your website. When you step outside your little bubble you can see what people really think. And this has nothing to do with source/1.6 You had some "awards" for worst LAN recently right? Let me guess, this HM LAN will miraculously be absent from your next poll.
2013-02-24 14:32
Just like the last HM LAN was miraculously absent from the best LAN poll in the last awards we gave out.
2013-02-24 14:38
How the fuck did the FACEIT TV stream closing down before the final round of matches screw over spectators in ANY way? By passwording the GOTV relay you pretty much screwed everyone over. Good to see some of the streamers come back after all that bs but not interested in watching french/ger/russian streams.
2013-02-24 14:27
You didn't answer my question. You first stated that the spectators were screwed over because FACETV didn't find someone to cover the last match, I provided some facts (other streams were available, as was GOTV) then asked how FACEIT screwed anyone over. You ignored my point completely and brought up something completely different which was still nonsense. The GOTV relays were passworded for a little over an hour while we sorted out the issues we had. The passwords were offered to streaming companies who didn't break our agreement and they had streams running during that time. They were then re-opened when we decided the best course of action. Like most of the trolls you're either not reading what I'm saying or simply ignoring the points that I'm making. Hilarious.
2013-02-24 14:37
LET ME BREAK IT DOWN FOR YOU. ESPlanet last LAN, unable to finish their stream for whatever reason, organises a "professional" ENGLISH speaking caster so the viewers arent screwed over and get to finish the last games. HEAVEN MEDIA current LAN. Delays happen (everyone is used to it, annoying as it is) are too tired to finish the days play and leaves before the last maps are yet to be played. You DO have a partnership with professional French/Russian/German streaming companies and for some reasons (obviously 2 sides to every story) a failed relationship with a Ukraine cast. You DONT organise a replacement "professional" ENGLISH language cast to cover the last maps, something that funnily enough the guy that you public degraded on your website recently managed to do. Once again I say thank you to the streamers that came back after the HM blockage, too bad we had no "professional" ENGLISH language streams available.
2013-02-24 15:23
Obviously the block was nolonger on the GOTV relays at the end so it could be viewed through GOTV, however very unprofessional to cut a stream before the games were finished. GL with your next event though.
2013-02-24 15:28
why put password on all gotv? why not put password only on the games they wanted to have exclusivity? simple lol
2013-02-24 15:11
It was passworded for about an hour? I don't understand why such a big deal is being made over it.
2013-02-24 15:14
Because all the streamers left, this is the problem. It makes no difference how long you blocked everyone for. And the ones who came back was the big ger/french/russian streamers.
2013-02-24 15:31
for me isn't such a big deal because i'm not interested in go scene :). i just stated a simple sollution witch would awoid all the commotion
2013-02-24 15:46
Haha, love, how you're clearly trying to push this over onto rizc and on top of that, add that 'Cadred staff' supposedly stepped in to save the day. You're a funny man Rickeh, oh and also you've just fucking deleted 2 of my comments on Cadred. No need to ban me as I doubt I'll feel the need to comment there anymore :)
2013-02-24 14:33
I'm not trying to push it over to RizC, as I said above I'm simply highlighting the double standards that the fucking morons in this community seem to live by, and that Cadred did step in to help (who would have thought that big, bad, evil Cadred staff would ever want to help anyone?). I also didn't delete any of your comments, nor would I feel the need to ban you, but it's a shame you won't feel the need to comment anymore.
2013-02-24 14:41
Fair enough, but as I discussed this with you in the other thread. You're in a management position, why the hell can't you tackle the 'censorship' problem? I mean, it's fucking embarrassing and backwards, that opinions which are negative to any of your mods or their beliefs/thoughts are deleted. It's like Cadred = Ministry of Truth and Gonzo is Big Brother.
2013-02-24 14:45
How is it cadred stepping in, when it was just one staffer offering his voice, whilst whisenhunt took over most of the hard work?
2013-02-24 14:58
This is an argument you cannot win, just don't reply to them. You can try and try but in the end the never-ending wave of mindless idiots will win out.
2013-02-24 15:58
Are you fucking kidding me?
2013-02-24 16:32
Great blog, agree 100%. Its just unacceptable to have so many hours of delays, having casters quiting the stream and leaving the public empty handed, its just pathetic and not what you would expect from a "good" event. Its even funnier to see the people behind the event looking miserably for bullshit excuses, when there are no excuses for such low behaviour from casters, etc... Low event, really a shame, I hope CSGO gets better events in the future, events at the same level as 1.6 used to have, because this level of event is pure amaturish.
2013-02-24 11:40
Horrid event, so many problems... Hope Heaven Media learn from the mistakes this time. Completely lack of respect for the public, casters leaving the stream not really giving a flying fuck about the viewers, etc... Absolute unjustified HOURS and HOURS of delays... really shit event for players and viewers.
2013-02-24 11:46
Oh, you expect to get full 8 hours of sleep, breakfast to bed and other conditions at a _LAN_ event. Some people breaking the rules and hardware failiors are whose fault? Think...

Beside delays, laggy stream is messing some enjoyable matches. Also PC's crashing must be a disaster for players. They should have tried them before start. Even today Anexis player have same problem, which is completly unexceptable for a "professional" tournament organizers. Overall some great matches and upsets made this tournament "ok".
2013-02-24 12:26
simple....postpone the matches to the morning at 07 or something similar
2013-02-24 12:56
after every OT there is a fking delay so annoying tbh..the admins just change the map
2013-02-24 13:19
what a bullshit just enjoy the event and the great matches. delays happen. qq idiot
2013-02-24 14:17
The best comment in the thread so far. I like it.
2013-02-24 14:46
lol you're getting my +1 good sir
2013-02-26 03:49
I find it funny that the organisations always find excuses then and say everyone else has the same problems. Over and over again jeez it's so tiring what about becoming professional then and do it better? Even though the americans aren't really big in esports their events seem to run better. I'm not talking about CS:GO only here.
2013-02-24 14:24
i've said in a topic that simply seeing lewis there talks enough about how proffesional this lan is. also, heaven media lied about the agreement with SLTV. the agreement was modified during the na'vi's game by heaven media and they announced SLTV caster on skype. the reason is that SLTV had more viewers than faceittv =)
2013-02-24 14:41
What is the agreement all about?
2013-02-24 14:48
Basically we said that streamers can cast any game they like as long as it doesn't clash with the one being shown by our official stream. When Na`Vi played their opening group game the guy from SLTV chose to stream the match while it was being shown by FACEIT TV, effectively cutting the viewership by half, which is why the GOTV relays were passworded for a short period while we figured out the best plan of action.
2013-02-24 14:53
Alright, not an ideal agreement for people who don't understand English, but I guess I sort of see your point.
2013-02-24 14:57
but everyone needs to know English AMERIKUHHHH # 1 !!
2013-02-24 15:00
"Lewis" isn't there. The second part of your post is also quite simply a lie.
2013-02-24 14:49
the agreement allowed SLTV to cast matches of CSI on their own stream, even if faceit tv streams the same matches. also, sltv wasnt allowed to stream other games with no csi teams in it if faceittv streams. for example, a semifinal nip-vs on faceit tv denied sltv to stream it. i was on sltv when the caster said that he just recieved a skype message from heaven media telling him to stop the stream. after that pass protected and banana. and lewis is "there" casting. maybe u havent seen him because he went to sleep while esc were playing decisive match.
2013-02-24 14:54
2013-02-24 14:57
The agreement for SLTV (same for the German and French stream) was that they could stream any other game than the ones streamed on FACEIT TV. Not sure where you got your information from.
2013-02-24 17:08
I make you a question, for you see something that you have complaints? Because there are always these stupid threads ?
2013-02-24 14:56
I haven't had time to catch much of the games, but from what I have saw the stream was clean, Jay and warclown were good and the games were good. Only complaint I have thus far is the analysis desk, I don't think Gonzo is nearly intelligent(game smarts) enough to give us analysis, I just wish threat was given more time and went deeper into the games other than just simple things. Lurrpis and threat would have been a great duo for analysis. So I guess I would like a much longer analysis, especially considering NaVi v VeryGames map 1 was lie 7 ots long and they barely spoke about that game.
2013-02-24 15:02
Frankly, Jay and Warlclown have LOADS of room for improvement. They've been getting things wrong frequently and I find them not really cut out for the job, at least with their current skillset. An event of this magnitude should have top notch casters covering it.
2013-02-24 15:05
still we got to watch a few good matched, that's all I'm asking. The only thing organisers should learn is that there's ALWAYS something wrong whatever their talent as admins and organisers, so instead of scheduling matches one after another as if players were machines, they should give them more time to prepare everything and make sure the matches start on time.
2013-02-24 15:10
and HORRIBLE casting. they dont notice any of the action (atleast when i watched i think ESC and some serbia team or something yesterday) there was a 1on3 situation for the CT and the timer goes off and they appearantly thought that the C4 went off and claimed that the terrorist had won the round. another great example was with NiP playing on dust2 where ALL the action was on the B site where get_right and f0rest (or friberg) had some epic teamwork going and took out the entire enemy team. but all we saw was fifflaren spotting long with his awp even though with the xrar and simple use of radar it was obvious that all action was at B
2013-02-24 15:19
#70 Enjoy the great matches and stop QQ'ing all the time smelly apes. You are just watching and not helping anyone at all. If this was an 1.6 or CSS tournament every User would search for excuses why the delays happened, but meh it's CS:GO. Everyone trying to humiliate GO tournaments in every possible way.
2013-02-24 15:41
3-4 hours sleep and ur whining LOL... 5 or 6 teams including us got NO sleep for 3 days at northcon.
2013-02-24 15:42
Both is bullshit dont you think so :)
2013-02-24 15:45
northcon, only the hardest survive. dont qq bro
2013-02-24 15:53
people act as if 1.6 never had delays, there was delays in 80% of tournaments and most were 2/3 hours at best. only bad thing is they scheduled the group stage to be finished at 23:00 which is too late, they should of tried to schedule matches to be 21:00 so delays wouldn't go into the 3/4am
2013-02-24 15:46
ESC - logix 14-8 and 2 hours pause to end it 16-8 ... ESC - LDLC inferno 15-15 after 1 OT they needed to change server on new one . After 20inutes they back to that same server LOOOOOL. Next 30minutes to configure cfg ( only 1 flashbang was allowed on default cfg ) so its almost 1hour delay to get one OT more. NAVI - VG in 3rd map is pause cos of internet on GREEDY CATZ FACEIT stream what a JOKE. They are going sleep but matches still are on. Now is pause NAVI - vg but ZERO info about that what happen etc. THE WORST EVENT EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2013-02-24 15:50
well not the worst, the worst was in india for sure
2013-02-24 15:51
In poland there aren't even events and guess why. (except of Katowice)
2013-02-24 15:53
China Specster
U kidding right? LOL every single event made in Poland was great, and it was said by fnatic, sk etc players. SEC Championship was amazing. I dont remember the other names, but Poland makes awesome events. Writing with no knowledge just to harrass is retarded.
2013-02-24 16:33
I think we are talking about Madcatz in this blog? :>
2013-02-25 01:11
So basically you made this just to scrutinise Cadred and whip the fanatics up into a little frenzy of rage posts.
2013-02-24 15:54
is he wrong? I'm not even a 1.6 fanboy but its been terrible dude. I have wanted to watch this lan for months. There are currently over 20,000 fans with nothing to watch, the delays were immense and there are teams operating on like 3 hours sleep. It was billed as a top international lan, not something you could have run better out of your house.
2013-02-24 16:00
The delays weren't ideal and we'll know in future to make sure we have plenty of back-up machines incase anything happens to the primary systems, but they weren't as bad as some people were making out and there are no teams there operating on three hours sleep. The fact that the internet went down is completely out of our control, while being DDoSS'd throughout the event hasn't exactly helped. The admin team are working their dicks off to get the network fixed so that people can watch. It's not been a great event and has been riddled with problems but I think people really are taking the piss with their reactions.
2013-02-24 16:26
people are disappointed. We don't buy tickets but its liking turning up to an empty stadium. We invest time and personally I got up at 5am east coast to watch the navi x VG match and was mega let down when I couldn't watch it all. ESC finished mega late, and probably had things o do before bed and then had to get up to warm up and eat shower etc etc. They are operating on little sleep and have to take on NIP so you get my point. Props for coming on here though you nutcase.
2013-02-24 16:38
I understand why people would be disappointed. I'm on the exact same boat as those who are pissed off but the reaction from a large section of the community has been ridiculous. Worse than the IGC? Surely they're taking the piss! :D
2013-02-24 16:58
remember that most of the people on here complaining are spoiled 10-15 year old kids, there is no point in trying to explain or argue about these things with them
2013-02-24 19:13
agreed but doesn't help when I'm watching a boring grand final on gotv which suddenly gets interesting in the last few rounds, only to be spoiled by an admin changing the map so I know NIP won it without see a thing!! Its the grand final...get herb dean in.
2013-02-24 22:47
i48 maplist. get your mad catz on it!

20k people watching cs:go streams with a picture with results. welcome to the new era of gaming
2013-02-24 16:31
And you were blaming that INDIAN event ... here is a European one
2013-02-24 16:33
India Gaming Carnival has a huge chance not to be the biggest fail after this tournament.
2013-02-24 16:34
a tournament runned by saucers, what do you expect?
2013-02-24 16:39
About the stream shutting down.. we agreed with the admins we would stream three games in the second groupstage. We did this and we were not aware that games were still ongoing. If this was so, other partners (Germany, France, Russia) were streaming these matches (because we had given each team three matches). Also, don't blame the casters about this, it's very hard for them to follow the event and see what is going on. They were casting 16 hours non stop as well.
2013-02-24 17:06
Azerbaijan Talley
Well, tournament wasn't the best, but c'mon, old CS action is back, you can't deny it.
2013-02-24 17:07
event was pretty bad, full of problems, huge delays, bad casting (lewis is terrible at this), etc... only positive comes from NAVI playing good after only 1 month and a half of practise.

The only reason I'm still watching is the awesome German stream. Couldnt even stand the faceIt stream for 5 damn minutes.
2013-02-24 20:45
I would fire Richard Lewis for that attitude not streaming ESC matches and go to sleep.

2013-02-25 01:21
Lol... melodramatic drivel at its finest.
2013-02-25 11:34
3) The casters (Richard Lewis, Jay, etc) simply decided to gave up, and go to sleep, when there were still important matches going on, including the ones deciding the fate of ESC gaming. Funny how the players need to stay up all the way till the end, and accept the delays, but the lazy casters just shut it off and go to bed. Sure we will hear excuses, but for me, this attitude is bad for sponsors and for the viewers They're humans, not machines. None of them have had a lot of sleep, including the guys working for Faceit (theyve slept like 4 hours in total I think, since the day before the event started). So that shit is just invalid
2013-02-25 11:37
theyr weak mofofos. im machine
