Delpan didn't live up to expectations on previous tournament so now they are all raging... People need to understand that he isn't a robot.

actually i think he is doing okay... he may not be as consistent as markeloff but he is a pretty important player for sk... it is not like they lost so badly to navi due to him...

Well to be honest, he missed so many entry shots with awp on ct side in the last IEM, that I'd say they lost a lot of rounds because of him, cause Na'Vi were just rushing non stop without losing anyone to Delpan. I mean, if you are the main awp of a team, you should kill 1-2 people to stop a push and help your team to take the round.

yeah i don't know what is up with that.. he used to hit all his shots in the year 2010 when he was a standin for most teams... i loved his play then and he was the most skilled awper apparently... but now after 2011 he has been missing all his shots.. he shows his potential now and then but he misses them far too often... even though he uses such a low sens. i cannot understand why he misses so many shots... doesn't make sense... maybe he is too cocky to practice...

Delpan is disapointing nowadays, but dont forget when he joined, SK started to win events again at the beginnings of the year.
Hes a key player, like he was for fnatic for that one event last year. (Forgot tournament name)
About trace, would be cool to see him action again in a top team, but if SK kicks Delpan, the most comfortable choice would be MODDII.
Its just my opinion.

Dude, if you're five people in a team, and only one of them performs, it's impossible to win anything. Imagine if someone had to do 1on5 every round. How does that make you feel?

Well, why would the most comfortable choice be moddii? He is amazing ofcourse, but should Delpan be replaced, they don't have a good AWP player (f0rest is good, be he should rifle, and RobbaN is not good enough at AWP at top level). Trace could fullfill this role.

SK is okey with this lineup and I think SK not going to replace Delpan just because of some bad shapes, but if its gonna happen once I said MODDII because once he played for SK as a stand in, and he played well and I think the chemistry would works better than with Trace, of course Trace is a beast and still one of my favorite player and want to see him again in a top team, but dont know Ive just cant imagine him in SK maybe the language/communication thats why I feel MODDII is more confortable even if the scandinavians has nearly same language.
About awp role you're right, and realy dont know how they would perform without a main awp. Maybe if f0rest, but hes better as a rifle.
He hasn't got laid in a couple of months, give him some time lad.

But, with these threads, you will just get "flame war" between fans and haters, coz Delpan fans will protect him, and others, Delpan haters will just complain how he sucks, etc.
So, it's useless post coz of them, fan and haters, which can't accept others opinion !
For me, as a fan of SK, this lineup is pretty good, and they just need better tactics. So, they don't need to change Delpan, RobbaN, they just need to improve their tactics to more risky ones, coz they have mad fraggers :D

Ok so say nobody in current SK is cut then they still need to change somethign! I believe face and GT should swap T side roles, face should be the lurker/scouter and GT should be an entry fragger alongside f0rp and Delp, I mean any team with half a brain can easily read SK's T sides on every map if they spot GT they will know roughly where the rest of them are and adjust and SK is just plain bad on inferno, and they can't expect to win train matches when their awper misses like 40% of his shots - its painful to watch.

face is a better site defender and GT is a better aggro player, its no wonder that GT has so many kills as he "grims" (camps) and picks off enemies on the rotate more often then not, hes the lone wolf, and I think he would be better being an entry fragger as everyone knows what SK does as T.
SK is usually pretty good at inferno, but they had a bad game...it does not mean that their infenro is always bad...for a while in 2011 they were unbeatable at inferno

Jeeez they came second after a game where Navi played like never before and SK had a bad day. Delpan is a really important player and SK really needs an awper like him. So instead of removing anyone from their roster they should build some new tactics and move forward.

It's not Delpan being bad, but the tactics being over used.... when he joined the team, they had fresh tactic, so the use of his AWP was efficient, now SK and Delpan are being studied, so it's not good to compare his old and actual form...
Anyway, hope they can come to their usual form, and that robban can creat some new great strategies to use the agressive Delpan efficiently..

No, it's not that he's not comfortable, it's about him missing EASY FUCKING SHOTS ! Like going long and simply missing the shot, the opponent walking right into his scope and missing the shot....ffs at the final game vs Na`Vi he almost never had money to awp

delpan is probably the least reliable person on SK. That's not to say he's the worst and should necessarily be cut, and even the least reliable on SK is better than the most reliable player on other teams. It's just with his play style it's easy to miss a shot and get fragged before getting a kill. Compare that to someone like markeloff or even friis (though friis' style is similar to delpan's, only slightly less 'run and frag'), who can be told to hold something like d2 cat and is happy to sit there and wait. Delpan would rather go for that aggro push to try to get a kill. Again, it's not inherently bad to play like that; it just favors certain situations/roles (like entry kills, especially on a map like train that favors awps or even entering b on d2) over others. The thing is, with f0rest and GTR on the team, I'm not really sure they need an awp who plays like that. The team might be better off with someone more passive or at least more patient. I really don't know who that'd be, though.

Delpan was not the weakest link in the tournament although he did not play like he did back in the summer at dreamhack, but he played great against moscow five, joe said that he was mvp in that match on mirage, he stepped up his game in the overtime. I actually think face was the weakest link and he has not performed at his best in quite some time, he used to be awesome at covering b2 on inferno and other sites, it seems like his defensive play has been lacking. Note that I'm not only blaming face but I think he has not really been the player that he can be, but bear in mind he is still one of the best defenders out there.
face is awesome at holding b2 on mirage but lately he has not stepped up his game, for instance when Sk faced m5 f0rest was a much better defender in that particular site, if face stepps up his game to the level that we are used to see from him if he does that he can literally close a site by himself. And I'd like to see some new tactics from SK too, it seems like they're just doing really slow rounds, playing on the clock, like mousesports does which can be good sometime but they have to mix up their tactics, otherwise the opponents will "antistrat" them, which I think Navi did in the final and they are really good at it.

Because he is too hasty as an AWP player. Sure he does a lot of frags but many rounds have been lost recently because he went in too fast or he just played offensively while the team needed to reposition.
Or probably there have been some interpersonal reasons we do not see (as we don't so oftenly).

Pita performs well in the most difficult matches. He and Gux were the main resistance against Navi this time round, for example.
I would love to see Fnatic replace Xizt with trace, but I'm not sure if having two Danes would wreck their communication. Fnatic is too loyal to their players anyway - that's more SK's style.
they don't have another options in sweden.. delpan is the best awper in that country, they can't replace him.

delpan isnt much better than robban with the awp, besides robban is more consistent and cutting delpan would allow them to take on another madfragger and allowing robban to be a sniper and strat caller.
