So there have been a lot of players lately retire over the course of the past year or two, but honestly i have never really cared for most of them regardless of their skill level to the extent that i do about carns retirement. Sure Carn was never a crazy mad fragger, he was never the one you were rushing to download his POV but he was always the one who actually understood more about CS, more about his teams players, more about the importance of other aspects outside of the game and inside than any other professional gamer, he was one of the rare few that could actually give a coherent interview instead of basic shy yes no answers that so many other gamers conduct. He truly bought more to the table than most people in the community realise he did something more impressive than stamping his mark on the CS world as a mad fragging individual, he stamped his mark through a way that most of the community fails to see or appreciate, he lead like a true leader making the ultimate sacrifice of himself to benefit others. He had the heart to actually care more about others around him unlike so many other gamers that fly solo to their own beat and its unfortunate that all of his haters could never see past this, all of you whom see in the one small dimension of how an individual performs in a game rather than being able to see outside the box at the bigger picture that carn was the master painter of. You will be missed Carn, but regardless of what happens at IEM your already going out a winner and one of the best players to have ever touched the game in ways that your true fans know and appreciate.
