megadeath is a pretty good band, happend to listen them new in flames's album is coming at the end of the year #hype
2016-05-10 21:16
I didn't think Megadeths album before the new one was that good. I haven't heard anything from their new one, Dystopia, aside from a fairly kickass riff.
2016-05-10 22:45
this instrumental from Dystopia kicks ass - youtu.be/VP4sd2dp1mg

was not impressed by the last albums, this one runs it way back. Good to see them on form
2016-05-10 23:54
yea only good recent albums were endgame and dystopia im definitely impressed by new lineup.
2016-05-11 00:14
Pretty good. But in my opinion Megadeth's Duke Nukem Theme is way better.
2016-05-11 00:21
Killswitch Engage, Tool, Meshuggah, Mastodon... not modern, but neither are raunchy/inflames (:

2016-05-10 22:50
Your mind is a helpless dreamer and Giants, damn this band is so good
2016-05-10 22:56
wow... listening to 'your mind...' - this is fucking great. It's like Raunchy crossed with Oeansize.
2016-05-10 23:01
I tell ppl that this band is a Meshuggah for calm days xD keep listening, those guys are totally genius
2016-05-10 23:04

Stranded Just2gud, repeating all over with new Deftones album
2016-05-10 22:41
I honestly prefer the shit from THE WAY OF ALL FLESH over Stranded, but here's hope that Magma will be just as good, if not better!
2016-05-10 22:59
Damn man, that riff is pretty sketchy xD I'm really hyping magma, if it comes at least 70% of FMTS I'll be happy
2016-05-10 23:01
FMtS was neat! Especially loved "Where Dragons Dwell". Just has such a good feel about it.
2016-05-10 23:03
YES! Backbone and Heaviest matter are >>SOMETHING<< dude xD
2016-05-10 23:06
Special mention to L'Enfant Sauvage also ;)
2016-05-10 23:24

2016-05-10 23:32
Mine have to be My Last Creation and L'Enfant Sauvage

kataklysm cc aborted obituary but also so many other baaaaaands if I begin to count it will have no end :|
2016-05-10 22:38
Rofl, A Day To Remember is pure rock, not heavy enough to be metal.
2016-05-10 22:43
they are more hardcore/pop punk but then again they do a bit of everything
2016-05-11 15:28
Mastodon, Gojira, VOLA, Ne Obliviscaris, Haken, Tool, this stuff
2016-05-10 22:43
tool is sooooo good I can never stop listening to them.
2016-05-10 22:47
True but i think we'll have to wait 10,000 days til next album, Maynard y u do this to us
2016-05-10 22:51
pls maynard why ;-; i need more tool. I've been meaning to listen to his other solo stuff but haven't gotten around to it.
2016-05-10 23:18
Well, puscifer has pretty few good songs and A perfect circle is AWESOME
2016-05-10 23:31
Listen to Aenima, and then look when it was released... It's mind boggling how it hasn't aged. Try listening to other music from around then (Soundgarden/RATM etc.) and it all sounds so dated now.
2016-05-10 22:52
I know right? They hit the nail on the head with that whole album.
2016-05-10 23:19
Ne Obliviscaris <333
2016-05-11 07:54
OPETH (old albuns) ,soulfly, amon amarth, Bring me the orizon, Heaven shall burn, hypocrisi, pantera, dark tranquility, imnsominum, gojira...
2016-05-10 22:49
pantera is probably still my nr. 1
2016-05-10 22:52

2016-05-10 22:56
rise against and parkway drive sometimes tremonti also
2016-05-10 22:59
oh this is considered metal now, okay.
2016-05-10 23:42
why not?
2016-05-10 23:45
because parkway drive = metalcore and rise against = melodic hardcore
2016-05-10 23:46
some new parkway drive songs had became heavy also rise against = punk can be considered metal

(you already listed some I really like, like Raunchy <3 :D) If you are curious you can check some other genres close to what you listen... : Alexisonfire, Funeral for a friend, Dirty Wormz, Freedom for Kingkong, From first to last, Powerman5000, Pain, Slaves on Dope, Story of the Year, Unwritten Law. hf!

No prob man! I forgot to list : Flyleaf (not new but still good :P), One Way Mirror, Soilwork (not new too), Fei Comodo (Posthardcore/metalcore), Rob Zombie (!!) To correct myself, I listed Pain & Powerman5000 apart because they are industrial metal, which include some electronic stuff, most of people are not really liking this :P
2016-05-11 10:27
Spineshank +1 but SOTY is kinda light, dont think itd fit here.
2016-05-11 08:49
Their first two albums are heavier than the recents ones, but still you're right, that why I've put them in my "other genres but close to what he listens" list :P Even "Unwritten Law" are too soft now, only one album was really really heavy/good, then they changed their lineup and their style with it :P
