Worst F1 drivers
Sweden NoPeaceJustHate
Maldonado youtube.com/watch?v=GUd8OMswdzg I challenge you to find a worse driver than Maldonado, maybe Grojeans first F1 season but i think Maldo is worse

LANZANDON, that Canadian tryhard always used F1 with NOS but couldn't even keep up with my 997 LOL
2016-07-30 02:07
Susie Wolf. Maldonaldo won at least a race. And in other races, he was at least entertaining.
2016-07-30 02:11
Pastor was gifted a win in the Pirelottery. Susie scored points on pace with the car she was in while climbing the ladder in every series she raced in. Maldonado only ever underperformed relative to team budget and teammates while costing teams tons of money in broken parts and written off chassis. The only reason why Madonado gets race seats is because his sponsors can pay for the damages many, many times over.
2016-07-30 04:58
well he was better in 2012 then 75% of the drivers lol
2016-07-30 05:25
His car in 2012 was better than all but three or four other cars, yet his average finish was outside of the top 10.
2016-07-30 05:34
yet he started a lot of top 5 in races and his car was definetely the best, look at how senna, he was in q a lot behind him always. He just had crashes and stuff, yet his speed was really good in 2012
2016-07-30 05:35
You don't get any money or points in qualifying. Fast laps was all Pastor was good at. His spatial awareness is dangerously shitty and his judgement is so bad that it almost cost Williams more money to make new parts than they got from his sponsors when he was driving for them. There is nothing good about a racing driver that can only drive and is dogshit at racing.
2016-07-30 05:42
i know, post 2013 it wasnt good, but in 2012 he was one of my fav drivers as he was really quick in a slow car and still was battling for podiums etc, and literally outpaced everyone in spain
2016-07-30 05:43
spain See above. He got a good allocation of incrementally less garbage tires that weekend. Note how he never came close to driving off the front of a race in F1 before or since. He got lucky. Williams had a low drag car that was difficult to pass and he had no one to race with because of the clunky start by other cars at the front of the grid. No one in motorsports gives Pastor a great deal of credit for the win because there wasn't much to it that required him to be exceptional to make the win happen.
2016-07-30 05:50
bro, you can seerch it up, he lapped webber and had over the race better pace then vettel. Raikonen who was in a pretty good lotus couldnt catch him, same for alonso.
2016-07-30 05:53
You aren't reading things right. Or at all.
2016-07-30 05:54
no, you are saying he had low drag so on the straights he cant be passed. Still that would mean he would lose a lot in the rest of the track as there are a lot of corners in spain. Nope, he had better pace then any driver on the field, even better then the redbull who had a much better chassis then any car
2016-07-30 05:56
Cars can be low drag and still make the same or only slightly less negative lift. Williams had an extremely slippery body design from 2011-current to capitalize on points scoring at circuits like Monza and Spa and to make their car harder to pass in an era when teams moved to shorter gearing after a couple of years of DRS. And then the lucky tires enabled Pastor to not have to worry about graining nearly as much and thus could just drive qual laps for 90 minutes after a clean getaway at the start. His win is nothing special in the grand scheme of things. Read any pundit's account or browse any site like F1Technical or Autosport and see just how large the consensus is that Pastor is a bag of dicks as a racer and that was in the right place at the right time once in his career in F1.

He's not bad, you're easily influenced by media, you should try to be little smarter. Proof: how could the worst driver (in your opinion) be the driver with most GP's ever?
2016-07-30 04:32
Rubens never beat a teammate. That's a pretty good indication of him sort of not having the goods. Instead of pace, he had race craft, however. He turned bad days into points scoring finishes regularly and was an amazing defensive driver when being used to keep a teammate ahead in the points.
2016-07-30 05:01
but was the first f1 driver to beat the stig on top gear :P

So... what's the point of your post? You agree he was the worst? Because the worst F1 driver wouldn't ever "turn bad days into points scoring finishes regularly and be an amazing defensive driver when used to keep a teammate ahead in the points."
2016-07-30 05:29
He wasn't a great driver. Or even a really good one. But he is as close as you'll find to a "support player" in the world of open wheel racing. He didn't chase wins and podiums because that was never within him to do so. Instead he was a high value, medium salary driver that could develop and set up the car better than just about anyone and get 95% out of it 100% of the time. Rubens was one of the worst drivers on raw pace. But one of the best in all other aspects of driving for an F1 team.

So, definitely not the worst, in general.
2016-07-30 05:45
He was the perfect second driver for a team with any sort of especially quick driver to put in a race seat. If their all star driver crashes or has a mechanical failure, Rubens still gets almost as many points as they would have or even wins the race outright because of his tact. He did this all the time for Ferrari and Brawn.
2016-07-30 05:54
To be fair, he was a teammate of Michael Schumacher for a long time. How are you supposed to win against the best driver of all time?
2016-07-30 05:46
He had way more than one teammate. Pay attention.
2016-07-30 05:51
youtube.com/watch?v=AXj69n9OOuY its impossible to win when ur team tells you to throw the race for ur teammate

2016-07-30 02:32
rosberg is overrated, not bad but he's not as good as we're lead to believe IMO
2016-07-30 05:16
When I saw the title Maldonado was definitely the first person to come to my mind. But apparently he has some stiff competition in the form of Andrea de "Crasheris" Cesaris (RIP). He holds the record for the longest career without a victory and according to f1-grandprix.com had 136 DNFs in his career of 208 starts.

Grosjean didn't even get last place in his first season. How on Earth could he possibly be a contender for the worst driver?
2016-07-30 02:51
Let me explain this to you since you are clearly a braindead burger....... ....ok, i realize that it would be pointless to explain since you clearly did some absurd mental gymnastic correlating bottom placement with driver skill without accounting for DNF, crashes, inferior car, etc etc etc etc I am so fucking tired of inferior burger brains writing stupid shit without even thinking for more than 1 millisecond........
2016-07-30 04:23
Lol you're that mad at something someone wrote on the internet. It must feel pretty shitty that Sweden's education system is ranked lower than a country filled with inferior burger brains.
2016-07-30 04:25
Also, it seems like you didn't think long enough because you're putting Grosjean's first season as worst than Yuji Ide or Chanoch Nissany

2016-07-30 05:20
Not even close. There is still well over a second per kilometre between the best cars and the worst cars. And temperature swings and track surfaces still favour one car or another quite often. Enough to decide a race winner.

Welp this is what u get when instead of those driving who are the best drivers those drive who bring most money... Welp, at least Pastor isn't terribly slow.
2016-07-30 05:45
all paydrivers (maldonado, palmer, ericcson, nasr, haryanto) NO EXCEPTION
2016-07-30 06:01
Maldonado is the sole reason why I started following F1 again, he was the random factor. Bernie wanted water sprinklers to randomly activate during races to simulate rain, but I'd rather have maldonado as such wildcard. Remember last year when for a few races Lotus was sponsored by the Mad Max movie? LUL This is such a better compilation of his crashes by the way, it's a shame FOM took down the original video youtube.com/watch?v=9YJHQidXV5M
2016-07-30 06:18
Great Video... some of these things he did, NOBODY EVER DONE THAT BEFORE!
