USA - Could do better I guess, feels like they always fall short in WC/Olympiqs 5. Russia - Shitload of good invididual players but always fail to make a team. Only wins WC, long time ago they did good at Olympqics 6. Czech Republic - Sometimes gives, sometimes takes 7-10. Slovakia, Switzerland, Denmark and Germany

I actually think that Finland have been playing better hockey past year than Sweden or coupple other countries in you list. Nowadays it have turned out to be like that. Years back Sweden had more. But in those rankings you of course look at the population first, if you ment that. But yes, Finland has quite a many hockey players.

Team or player wise? Russia's team isn't better than the U.S's... Their goaltending is trash and their defense questionable. But they do have a lot of stars... And WC/Olympic hockey isn't real hockey, it's pussy ass hockey... NHL is real hockey. If team USA played team Sweden in bo3 series with NHL rules team Sweden would lose imo. They'd be worn down physically... Sweden has a lot of skill players but they aren't known for a physical brand of hockey... When you only play like 1-2 games against quality teams in these events it easy to get by. But like I said bo7 ez for USA.

Varlomov and Bobrovsky haven't played well in the nhl recently... Even so they aren't elite goal tenders. Sorokin is meh. I'll give you Vasilevsky- he's pretty good but none of these goal tenders are as good as price,quick,rask, lundqvist etc

NHL is people who are paid to beat each other to a pulp to bring in American fans, and is being more Americanized by the year, the league is changing too much I miss the old NHL, with that said yes I do like voilence in hockey, just not what we have now. I mainly watch jr hockey like OHL now, but I love seeing international hockey because of how much talent you get to see

USA is always the big challange for Canada in every olympic tournament. They're massively underrated by people that don't follow hockey (HLTV). I'd almost rate them above Sweden as a Swede. I'd put Finland over Russia though, they're always underperforming in Olympics.
