LUL shitty game, nice one dude dota is actually getting support from valve unlike this shitfiesta CS with tons of bugs and shitty design only thing going for it is the fundamental concept of the game invented during the previous milenium nothing good happened to CS since 2000

I am well aware that there's a difference between your and you are, but on that context it was more than clear Jacks0n ment ur as "you are", not "your", thus ur = you are

ur = your u're = you are pls, this triggers me

2016-08-09 00:48
1. Valve sponsor csgo too 2. 95% of ti prizepool is crowd funded
2016-08-09 01:28

2016-08-09 00:13
gaben needs money for solid gold coffin
2016-08-09 00:14
or because they didn't want to put that much money into a game that's pretty much impossible to make free from cheats there's cheaters in the pro scene, and they earn more than enough
2016-08-09 00:16
nah gaben just needs solid gold coffin

ye but players get 50% of sticker which is alot of money
2016-08-09 00:27
You want bigger tournaments? Tell the teams and players to give up on the sticker money. Doubt you'll find anyone who says "yeah, sure".
2016-08-09 00:28
i think 500k is enough for a prize pool...
2016-08-09 05:39
The bigger the better.
2016-08-09 11:39
csgo have more money cuz cases, skins etc and only 1.000.000 :(
2016-08-09 00:13
Turkey GKR
they should make a case and lets say for 2 dollars, every purchase should go to the prize pool. Even valve makes money this way, 2.5 dollars each key.. but they are so fucking dumb to do this.
2016-08-09 00:18
Cases should be more expensive than the keys ... such as getting my door lock at cheaper price than the key for my door lock LOL
2016-08-09 16:31
Just think for a second, 19+mil was given from 25% of a 10$ in game item
2016-08-09 00:30
How you can tell they are so dumb they arent doing that? I am sure they have calculated everything out and acted which is best for them.
2016-08-09 00:32
what the fuck does the compendium even give you and why are so many people wasting so much money on a $10 item?
2016-08-09 01:16
there are certain ingame features.. i myself bought the first compendium in 2013(?) because back then it really was something new and had nice features like item drops right now i dont play dota anymore but they even made a special matchmaking for compendium users, so theres plenty of bonuses you get from compendium

u can't compare prize pool for dota and cs coz for cs majors u have to understand that 50% of stickers money goes to teams. i think more or less there are 1 million or even more stickers so teams will get an extra million to their pocket.
2016-08-09 00:35
you think
2016-08-09 00:40
sticker money = 4.2 million in total for teams. that's 50k per player on average.
2016-08-09 01:21
United States Kyto
still that's not all that bad. u gotta factor in how they split it though so some people get much more and some much less. but yeah 50k x 3 a year just for showing up isn't a bad deal.
2016-08-09 05:16
it isn't bad but it's still significantly worse than dota
2016-08-09 15:47
csgo skilled game dota = russian game truestroy hehe xd
2016-08-09 00:37
dota game without cheaters cs:go cheaters on competive scene that fnatic won 99% lans dota popular in asia = trylions $$ only from this region cs asia dont give fuck about FPS games
2016-08-09 00:45
so fnatic quit cheating? or?
2016-08-09 00:59
>dota popular in asia = trylions $$ only from this region even lol which is a 10x more popular than dota doesn't make a trillion. Dota is only marginally more profitable than csgo. >cs asia dont give fuck about FPS games what a load of shit. crossfire and sudden attack are two of the most popular games in asia
2016-08-09 01:27
No. Dota popularity is more popular than dota and crossfire is dead now cuz Csgo. Only korean play sudden attack
2016-08-09 04:13
koreans play sudden attack and chinese player crossfire. csgo still isn't that popular there. dota is not more popular than crossfire.
2016-08-09 15:46
how would someone even "cheat" in DOTA?
2016-08-09 01:34
Macau Lass3YAOW
Maphacks? Mostly the same fucking cheat that is in CS with the cursor.
2016-08-09 03:25
pretty fucking hard to do considering it's server-sided. you can script, though.
2016-08-09 15:56
i feel like u have the worst rank in dota nt polando csgo > dota so ez
2016-08-09 03:12
Lol chinese collectors own million-dollar cs go inventories...
2016-08-09 11:47
thats insane, great for dota 2
2016-08-09 00:38
Never played DOTA or any MMO/RPG game and can confirm it's fundamentally unwatchable for outsiders.
2016-08-09 00:41
Yeah, pretty sure thats why ELEAGUE picked CSGO too. It'd be a total shitshow to watch for outsiders. Shit I've even played dota for a while and I fucking dont understand it.
2016-08-09 00:51
Dota is kinda hard to learn but if you understand it, then it would be fun. In my opinion, its more fun to play dota than CS but its personal preference.

That's absolutelly expected. It's like trying to show/teach quantum physics to someone who haven't seen anything about classical physics.
2016-08-09 01:30
yeah, totally unwatchable, I just don't get what's going on CS on the other hand is really easy to understand
2016-08-09 04:14
Its not mmorpg its moba. Its really easy to understand it if you've played some other moba game, but in your case I can understand you having trouble understanding whats going on. You need to know roles, all the heroes, their spells, the map, courier, items, the meta etc.

1s $8,843,996 that's almost 18 CS majors. But our pro's get sticker money so that compensates to a point but not 17.7 times.

2016-08-09 03:56
I make that in 2 months, lal.
2016-08-09 04:07
Csgo doesnt even deserve a 20m prizepool tbh, shit game and shit community (not hltv tho)
2016-08-09 04:34
United States Kyto
the game is and always has been a cash cow for volvo ever since they released cases. they've without a doubt made 250m usd from csgo and that's just a low estimate. the fact that they only just started making 1m majors is almost embarrassing. if they brought the esport case to crowdfund majors, i'm sure they'd pull in at least 5x that even with the dip in players from all the shit that recently went down
2016-08-09 05:23
