if the price difference isn't too big then go for 144, if there's a real difference and you could use the money for something else, go for 120, if you are somewhat of a decent player already, this will help you alot.

very small difference tbh
Both are great. If you are on a budget, nothing wrong with 120hz but of course 144hz is (marginally) better. Consider other specs like brightness, viewing angle, colour depth, response time etc - if the 120hz monitor has better specs then you might want to buy that one instead. Most gaming monitors are TN panels and look washed out as fuck, so films and dtd use is pretty dire. If you can afford a fancy IPS panel 144hz then go for it :)
depends on the response time too. alot of 120hz monitors use 5ms response time.
if u went from 120hz 5ms RT -> 144hz 1ms RT
it wouldn't be like 60 -> 144 but it would still be a decent upgrade.
i got a 144 hz monitor but my pc is shit and i can only run 120hz on 1024x768 but its sick.. so smooth and iam semi pro now
pasha is probably the best player ever, and he uses 100 hz so..
BenQ XL2411Z or regret it later.
tft screens of lowprice 144/120 hz monitors are horrible and in my op its very big disadvantage
i have been using 21" nec crt (1024*768 160hz) for 1.5 years and i dont see any alternatives for it
yes, there are some good ips 120/144 monitors but price..
also there is no difference between 120 and 144 hz at all
switched from a 120 to a 144 one week ago. It's nearly no diffrence. So if you find a legit 120hz monitor, get him. Got a 27inch, which is kinda to big imo. 24inch would have been enough.
