Yes bcuz 600mb/s = 6 ping/s
U need fiber ask swedes with 5 ping
higher speeds doesn't make your ping better. If you want better ping you should check for how the internet gets delivered. for example fiber will get you the best ping, whilst wireless broadband won't give you as good ping.
The ping and the download speed aren't the same thing
I got around 5 ping and i've 25 mbps
i know dis is b8 but still...
there are so many factors which influence the ping: fastpath (y/n), vectoring (y/n), distance to dslam, fiber to home (y/n) etc. youre pure bandwidth doesnt say anything at all.
no. it wont improve at all
No, human eye cannot see 2.4 ping 150hz
Wait what? 600 mega bits per second? How?
cs go only uses up to 6.2Mbps of your bandwidth. Therefore, it doesn't matter much more you got past that, your ping won't improve.
as someone already said, bandwidth and ping are two separate things
depends on where u live. my friend with 10mbit/s gets 9 ping, i get 42 with 50mbit/s
I'm 100 UP and 100 DOWN for 6 euro a month :D
Yea , normally . Anything that helps your internet connection makes the ping low
Latency has nothing to do with throughput.. You can get a 10 GB/s connection and still get a 0.5s latency
your ping is your connection between you and your isp, so high download doesnt effect it as much as how close you are to the servers. I had 5 ping on cs with 50Mbs.
yes, about one or two ms.
Go for it and pay more!
Ping depends on your routing and not your download speed. It probably won't affect much and certainly not anything drastically noticeable.
I have 3 mb/s Fuck my life
No, get fiber optic. Thats the best you can possibly get.
That depends where the server is it doesnt matter what your internet speed is
fucking eu internet so cheap..
Where the fuck do you live with that internet? hahaha
going to be the same ping, i went from 100 -> 600 and nothing happened
Who cares you should have below 20 whenever
average ~1 mb/s with 120-200 ping in csgo
ez 3rd world country
Depends on type of connection and how far you are from the data center/exchange or whatever Danes call it. You can have fast AF internet but if you live regionally your ping wont be as good as someone in the city
Ping Its not about mb or upload. Its about distance between your home and central.
More upload speeds/less distance from the server = less ping
why do you care so much?
if your ping is lower than 20 there shouldn't be a problem but if the 600 or 300 only costs a bit more i would still take them :D
ping has to do the distance and network infrastructure. Higher bandwidth does not necessary mean lower ping!
600 Mbps or 600 MBps?
there is a huge difference.
i have 5ping on austrian server. 75mbps inet
depends on network card, rounting, distance to server, wired/wifi
Don't upgrade it solely for the purpose of trying to get a lower CS ping. If you want download things faster, upload things faster etc then go for it. For only CS, it isn't worth it. anything below 30-20ping is extremely well playable.
I got 100/10 package and get 10-25 ping in Sweden servers etc.
internet speed won't affect your ping (latency) this badly.
In franch a "bite" is a dick so myt internet operator told me that i have "100 mega bit" but in fact i got 101 thanks god for giving me a huge one :)
if u want better ping u need DDR4 ram
no. If you are having bad ping, leave a traceroute here so we can see if the problem is yours or not. If its yours, you can send the traceroute to your ISP and hope they can fix.
currently have 2/2 mb/s fiber and 5 ping to most servers. never above 20. depends entirely on your isp.
oh you have 100 MB/s ?
Oh thats nice...
Crying in 2 MB/s :(
Ping depends on the technology used to connect your household to the internet.
At my parent's home I have 180Mb/s and get 25 ping on FaceIT NL servers using cable.
At my student room I have 50Mb/s and get 5 ping on the same servers using fiber...
