Close enough man. I think this match was one of the best in a while. Hope the match Nadal vs. Federer to be even better <3 Are we in 2010-2011, when these guys were destroying everything?
2017-01-27 14:55
Federer is too old for winning it. 3-0 or 3-1 Nadal.

Honestly how Federer did play yesterday, i give no chance to Nadal tomorrow. I think there will be 3-1 for Roger <3
2017-01-27 15:39
Federer didnt even play good vs stan. Last 3 sets were horrible
2017-01-27 16:15
2017-01-27 16:01
it would be amazing to see fed vs nadal in finals again
2017-01-27 02:30
Come on Roger!!

I hope Nadal 3-0s Dimitrov as fast as possible so that we have a real classic in the finals where no one is fatigued too much. Realistically, I think it will be 3-1 for Nadal tho.
2017-01-27 02:33
did you watch federer vs wawrinka? really weird match, after the first 2 sets
2017-01-27 02:38
Nadal struggle vs Dimitrov he hits too hard.. but cheer for Nadal ofc
2017-01-27 02:47
Dimitrov will win, probably 3-1. Pointless predicting set scores, but i'd say 6-4 7-6 3-6 6-3
2017-01-27 02:48
lul why you think dimitrov will win?
2017-01-27 02:51
If you were going to question people who said dimitrov will win why didn't you just make the thread 'Nadal will win' xD Before a few days ago, Nadal hadn't made it past the 4th round at a GS since the French Open 2015, he's not like he used to be. Some matches at this tournament have been comfortable for sure, but it's not exactly been an easy road all things considered. (Scraped past Zverev, the Monfils game was drawn out - and the Raonic game could have been completely different with just a one or two points the other way). I'd also have to agree with #8. Nadal has always struggled vs hard hitters - as shown in the Zverev game, fair credit taking down Raonic but I just don't value his chances for a 3rd time. I've watched Nadal play (and lose) many times, both in real life and on TV to hard hitters. With that latter point in mind, I don't really see it as like, an unusual matter. I watched him lose against Dustin Brown at Wimby 2015 lol, wouldn't be a miracle for dimitrov to beat him. It's not exactly a set match for dimitrov to win, of course Nadal can take it. But I'm just not jumping straight on the hype train which so many people seem to do (even in CS:GO - Optic). On top of that Dimitrovs road to the semis has looked much more comfortable, not just from a set perspective, but how he won the matches. I think Rog will beat either of them that progress.
2017-01-27 03:01
excuse me, zverev is a much better player than dimitrov.
2017-01-27 03:04
Some thoughtful analysis, I guess we'll keep this a short and simple exchange then: If he's a 'much better player' why is he ranked 24th and dimitrov ranked 15th with the same amount of tournaments played?
2017-01-27 03:06
rank is meaningless just look at federer and nadal this tournament, meanwhile both women #1, men #1 and #2 get knocked out by some rank 50+ people
2017-01-27 03:09
Dude, you're talking like someone either very new, or just clueless on tennis lol. Taking your logic, dimitrov has progressed further in the tournament, so he's a better player anyway.
2017-01-27 03:09
i have been watching tennis for 10 years now, excuse me. dimitrov's road to semi final is exceptionally easier than nadal's. dimitrov faced really short players lacking weapons like gasquet and goffin. meanwhile nadal was faced with zverev and raonic two incomparable players to gasquet and goffin.
2017-01-27 03:12
Dude... You're literally make comments that I'd expect of a 12 year old, no offence. 'Rank is meaningless' Like honestly just stop and think about that comment you made for a moment lol. How can you have watched tennis for supposedly 10 years and make a comment like that? It's a system which calculates your performance over the last 365 days. Every match you play, every opponent you face, in every country, every tournament. After this tournament is over, Dimitrov will be about 800-1500 points clear of zverev, depending how far he goes. Dimitrov has clearly had a more successful year, and is a better player. I don't really see what logic you're trying to employ? The person who wins on the day is the better player from there on? Is that your argument? Upsets can happen, but that's why they are upsets - the higher rank will win the majority of the time. Can I argue that Seppi is a better player than Djokovic because rank is meaningless? Like... Just think dude. I wasn't really talking about Nadal, I was talking about your comments on Zverev. But yes, I agree Nadal's road has probably been harder, at least in the later stages. Although I would say facing one of the highest possible seeds in the 3rd round and Djokovic's conqueror in the 4th isn't exactly an easy road. As I said, it isn't a guaranteed match at all. Nadal can easily take this. I just think dimitrov has a better chance to.
2017-01-27 03:19
rank is meaningless because players like federer or nadal can come back to tour after being out for 6 months and be placed so far behind, yet still be able to defeat top players. and djokovic did not lose to seppi, he lost to istomin. seppi beat federer two years ago.
2017-01-27 03:22
I wasn't referring to Istomin, I just picked out a fairly low ranked player to prove my point. They are anomalies lol. 2 highly skilled players out of action returning, as for the other hundreds and hundreds of players who play all year round, rank is meaningful. No point arguing with you. I've put forward facts and think it's a 55-45 match with dimitrov favoured. You think it's a guaranteed match for nadal, and that nadal will then go on to 'rek' federer in the final. Just wait and enjoy the matches I guess.
2017-01-27 03:26
yeh that guy is an idiot you made good points but I still think Nadal will win ;) we'll see
2017-01-27 11:43
Highly doubt Nad or Fed would beat Murray or Nole right now. Definitely siding with Lewis on this.
2017-01-27 14:20
current form : dimitrov > zverev i also think dimitrov have a chance here , but he must step up because he is lacking experience at this level of competiton. but the potential is there for sure.
2017-01-27 03:08
what % chance you think dimitrov has to win
2017-01-27 03:19
2017-01-27 03:20
wow very precise xD
2017-01-27 03:38
i will cheer for dimitrov anyway , i want new faces to succeed . i've seen all epic battles between nadal and fed , i want some fresh material , and i beleive dimitrov can deliver high quality tennis. still nadal remains favourite no matter how you put it.
2017-01-27 03:42
Wtf dude u said that u are following the scene in last 10 years and how can u say that zverev its better than dimitrov right now??? Dimitrov look so damn good atm. U have seen his last tournament before AO? Ye Zverev its the next ATP superstar in 15 years he will be there between nadal and federer with 15 GS at least.. thats my opinion
2017-01-27 03:51
dimitrov look good vs very average opponents, i mean getting through gasquet and goffin not the most difficult opponents..
2017-01-27 04:00
I know what you say here but u probably know that almost every player from top 50 its more or less equal depends on form (psysical condition, if are on point for a few tournaments etc) and the most important thing in tenis - mental power/strength. And Dimitrov its there atm but the thing is that Nadal is there too. Depends but nadal has first choice
2017-01-27 04:15
Gasquet and goffin are physically (height) very disadvantaged but are still in top 20
2017-01-27 05:00

easy forehands from Nadal
2017-01-27 11:45
Nadal is doing a lot more topspin than usual less power, sometimes its hurting him when he isnt hitting them in deep
2017-01-27 11:47
Probably true but he did well with it on his own serve.. Also Dimitrov looks flustered
2017-01-27 11:51
Fuking bot nadal
2017-01-27 11:59
LOL I missed the break now. WTF :/
2017-01-27 12:02

2017-01-27 12:08
Nadal not going after his shots enough
2017-01-27 12:09
Dimitrov's much faster than Federer, more powerful strokes and his serve is faster too. And these one-handed backhand winners are really torturing Nadal
2017-01-27 12:11
Italy Wakkaa
Nadal is playing like such a pussy. I mean whenever he has to return the serve he is almost standing in the audience for fuck sake
2017-01-27 12:10
Yea really defensive, tonight. Dont think its helping him
2017-01-27 12:13
Federer will win this tournament
2017-01-27 12:12

2017-01-27 12:34

Incredible match this semi

Now one of the (if not even THE) most legendary duels in the final: The king from the Alps versus the prince from the Mediterranean island The artist versus the power monster Two legends! GO Fedi! Make the 18th Grand Slam title come true! Screw the haters who told you over and over again to end your career. You can do it! edit: Thinking about it...both have been described by "experts" as "top players of the past", especially Nadal, with "no chance of ever winning a grand slam again". Regardless of who wins, this is going to be an amazing victory.
2017-01-27 15:01
I will bet into Federer and S. Williams. 150 USD. Bye money
