Well, I dont really know about most countries. However, I would argue it is more diverse in Britain as it is 4 different nations rather than just one.
2017-02-26 21:40
Educate yourself. Britain refers to England and Wales. Inb4 "britain is short for great britain" - well cunt is short for shut your cunt face, yellow teeth.

What, you make no sense. Why the agression? You should be happy seeing that usually your country gets hate for how you sound. All I want to do is find out what accent he hates, Ireland sounds nothing like England afterall.
2017-02-26 22:12
I just felt the need to be a cockjuggler, because you sport the Union Jack and try to pull stunts like telling people "Britain" refers to 4 nations. Danes have the most annoying accent when speaking English, that I can think of. youtu.be/D6zu6zKibEI - there are plenty of other examples, but this one was what I thought of first.

About the Union Jack. If I could make it the Saltire, believe me, I would. Hahaha that video is pretty funny btw

I understand that he is from an older generation and English wasn't mandatory until '75, but if you are going to host something in English at least fucking try... Also come to think of it, I believe English might have been mandatory if you wanted a higher education back then, which he has. So, fuck that guy for not even trying.

2017-03-02 17:51
Yeah it is 4 countries. Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. What he said was right.
2017-02-26 22:43
Britain is England and Wales. Great Britain consists of 4 nations you mention. Edu.ca/te-yourself.html
2017-02-26 22:51
Britain = Great Britain (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) Britain =/= Roman Britain (England and Wales) Thank me later

All four countries as a whole is the United Kingdom, The mainland for these countries is Britain or Great Britain. So Britain is actually England, Wales and Scotland.
2017-02-27 18:53
No. Britain is not Great Britain and vice versa. Pls, yellow teeth... Britain is "Roman" Britannia, consisting of Englando and his Whale friend.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING????? You are entering a dangerous world here pal
2017-02-26 22:17
Except there is since everyone in the world who speaks english is taking over the customs of american english. Wanna = american. want to = british. gonna = american. going to = british. Brittish accent is funny, but I prefer the normal american accent tbh.
2017-02-26 22:43
More like: wanna = American wanna = British gonna = American gonna = British gotta = American go^a = British
2017-02-26 22:44
Except no, it's not.
2017-02-26 23:10
You are the type of a retard who thinks ain't and wanna are American terms lol! Have you ever heard a Brit speak? Do you even listen to British CSGO casters? It is not like they don't use wanna and gonna at least 30 times a match. Why am I even wasting my time on such an imbecile lmao!
2017-02-27 11:20
Yes I have, and they have adopted the speech from the Americans, it isn't official in the British language.
2017-02-27 12:01
Gonna/wanna is popularized in the UK due to American cinema and music culture, it is considered slang in the UK. The UK is particularly sensitive to picking up slang, along with my own country The Netherlands, both our countries pick up new linguistics rapidly, and is often caused by influences from pop-culture. You're young, you don't know these things so well yet, but nice try. :)
2017-02-27 13:23
You are so dumb. I prove to you etymologically that these terms come from the UK and you repeat the same nonsense again. For example: etymonline.com/index.php?term=gonna The term comes from Scotland, which is in the UK. How fucking retarded do you have to be to ignore it all.
2017-02-27 14:28
I think you should seek different sources, as the ones you've provided are clearly giving you the wrong information. I once thought the same about this terminology like you do right now, however my professor who was a graduate in linguistics and has a doctorate degree in the English language. I assure you, you're wrong, and I urge you to seek out different sources.
2017-02-27 14:34
Nope. You are wrong. I proved you wrong. You have not used any source you stupid imbecile while I have. I won the argument. Bye!
2017-02-27 14:35
You've proven my point, you're young, you still have a lot of things to learn. :)
2017-02-27 14:37
its slang in the united states 2 ya koont
2017-02-27 16:46

I think it's because some English words means the same in Swedish, like "just" but in Swedish you pronounce it "yust". Also "job" is kinda similar, the basic form of it is "jobba" which is pronounced "yobba" etc.

i think there's different areas of each country that has people that make the accent sound bad. Trashy white women from Australia have the most annoying voice, yet an Australian woman with good accent is hot af. Same for USA, i hear some accents from there and it's like never talk again pls, but some people from 'Murica have awesome accents. Even same for Indians, i worked in an area where a lot of them live here in Melbourne and i used to install cctv cameras and house alarms, did loads of work for indians and a lot of them had very pleasant accents, could listen to them talk all day.
