Sensivity in CSGO
United States americaheckyeah
Hallo boyz, I am a global elite player and I have 1250 dpi and 3,52 sensivity ingame, I can one tap kinda nice, but I am always a really solid agressive as fuck main awper, and tbh I am decent I normally top frag in every game in global. I just checked pros sensivities and what people normally play and is like 12x times lower than mine, I get that having a lower one may make you more precise but doesn´t it make your arms tired as fuck after flicking some nuubs?

So you got Global a few days ago and now you think you are a good Global? LOL You are below average. faceit.com/en/players/Pablyko You are level 4 and 1.11 K/D on Faceit, you are bad.
2017-04-03 14:28
Man, Woxic is Pro player, and he play on 5184 Edpi. 1620 dpi 3.2 ingame sens. So ... stfu. Most of pro play on 400 dpi ingame sens 1-4 but some of them play lower or higher too.
2017-04-03 20:30
everything between ~1.5 and ~3.7 is fine (400 dpi).
2017-04-03 12:36
exactly my toughts :D its all on habit
2017-04-03 12:38
sure. I can play either with 3.5 and 1.7, it's a little bit different but doesn't matter so much as people think. :)
2017-04-03 12:43
thing is my dpi is not 400, it´s 1250 xdd it´s way too high even for high sens players xddd burn me into hell god
2017-04-03 13:00
I don't there is linear correlation between sensitivity and stamina. Or rather you see majority of people using much lower sensitivity than yours and aren't complaining, so where is your basis for assuming that i'd tire your arm out now?
2017-04-03 12:47
I was semi-professional handball goalkeeper and I got a serious injure in which I broke both my wrists, this means that if I do too much effort and really hurts + if you have a lower sensivity in general you will have to move more your arm, with my sens maybe to do a 360º turn you just move the mouse 5 cm to the right and maybe with 400 dpi 1.2 sens is 40 cm. The more you move the arm, the more tired it gets
2017-04-03 12:56
Well, It isn't wrist you have to use for big arm movements, wrist gets strained when using it for adjusting angle of holding mouse. But you can use elbow for that instead. I think that rotating wrist around isn't a good idea in general, not talking about injury. The more you rotate around the grip, the more tired it gets. Other parts of arm don't get tired quickly. Or at least that's my opinion by considering how my own arm works. p.s. or rather wrist gets worn out by rotating it around, to be more exact. There isn't much muscle there that'd get tired, it just isn't suited for that kind of movement.

I ysed to play 5000 dpi and 5 ingame sens got global with dat
2017-04-03 12:47

2017-04-03 12:51
Don't listen to everyone saying you should change,if you're good with it why change anything? You don't have to do like everyone else...
2017-04-03 12:55
true tho, but when everyone does the opposite as me, I just wanted to check if I am right or I am wrong idk, I think my sens is better for flicks(I am always that agressive main awper) but then maybe a lower one may be better for tapping and shit even tho I am decent atm, but maybe if I´ve managed to be decent global with high sens with low sens I could become better idk what to do
2017-04-03 12:58
I mean if you want to change you can try but to feel as good as you feel with your usual sens it will take ~100h at least
2017-04-03 12:59
yep that´s what pushes me back :/ maybe slowly lowering it might be a good idea, coz I don´t want a derank and I don´t have the time to play 20 dm´s a day xddd
2017-04-03 13:03
1600 dpi, 1.5 sens eu global entry awper + rifler
2017-04-03 12:56

2017-04-03 12:59
my dpi is 1250 and ingame sens is 3.5 but idk about the windows one, how do i check it?
2017-04-03 13:05
Low sens makes your aim smoother but you need a large surface to move it ofc
2017-04-03 13:09
I play for example With a FK2 400/1.31 Because i have a Very Good control ans ZOOMSENSE 1.05 JUST FINE
2017-04-03 13:11

2017-04-03 14:32
you shouldn't be worried about what the pros play because every pro will say you should play with what you're comfortable with. you should only change your sens if you aren't consistent and are over-flicking or under-flicking. every time you change it you will have to practice for many hours to get used to it again.
2017-04-03 13:49
yeah you are pretty much right but seems weird as my sens is soooo far away from everybody´s

dont mind it, everyones different. pros tend to have similar sensitivities because almost all of them started out together in older games and stuck with those settings.

you can try this; stop playing for a while (~2 weeks) then come back and just get rid of your sensitivity and start from scratch and try and feel out which sensitivity you're most comfortable with. aim isnt the only important thing, movement is too. so load up a big map like dust2 or something and try clearing out angles, also spawn some bots and try aiming. i ended up on 1.7@800dpi and i feel and do better on it than i ever did on any pro's sens.
2017-04-03 14:34

Don't change your sensitivity just because most of the csgo pro players play with low sens, there is many pros with high sens too, like fox, f0rest, hiko, etc.. It depends if you play moving your arm or just your wrist. If you change to a lower sens you will have to use your arm too much and maybe you won't feel it. Watch this video about that, it will help you maybe: youtube.com/watch?v=PLvBQx1g1qA

Just like woxic almost.... just that he has 1600 dpi and 3 sens like wtf
2017-04-03 23:15
If your sens works for you that's great. Are you playing with RAW imput? If no: what's your windows sensitivity? This might affect the overall sens. If raw imput is on CS:GO will bypass the windows-sens.
2017-04-03 23:17
400 dpi 6/11 windows sens 1,3 ingame sens ftw and dont talk about global dude every bot can get global try to get master in faceit or rank G in esea

Your sens is too high. Doesnt matter what fits you, best aimers out there play with 5x slower sens than yours, for a reason. Most pros use a sens from 2 - 2.6 DPI. Launch aimbotz and try getting accustomed to lower sensitivities. It may take a while, but you prob wont regret it. 2.5 400 DPI is always a good start, as it is meant to be the default sensitivity in csgo.

Im playing on 450 dpi 1.30 sens its sometimes being weird i cant move my mouse but i think its about i broke my right wrist 2 times when i playing football but sometimes its being faster im lowering it to 1.1. Fck we need stop changing our settings, if we are good on one settings just stay with it.
