Sensei Lift off problem
Libya Josh4tw
Hello i recently got a steelseries sensei and i have a shaky sensor the moment before mouse touch the pad, i tried different lift off distances from the SS Engine but i still have the same problem, i tried 0% 5% 7% 20% 40% even 100% and the problem still occurs, any idea? :/

if u still have warranty, then claim a new one.after that, sell it. And instead, buy one of these mice: -MS WMO 1.1a/IMO 1.1a/IME 3.0 -Razer Abyssus/Deathadder/Krait/Salmosa -Logitech MX300/MX310/MX500/MX510/MX518/G1/G400 -Zowie EC1/EC2/AM/AM-GS/

+1 instead of Razers
2012-04-28 16:24
why the razers?
2012-04-28 16:31
Cheap switches and not the best lens.
2012-04-28 16:35
they r comfy as far as esreality guys said but u need to be lucky to get the non-jittering version.about the durability, i think if u treat these mice good, they will last long no matter what.

From Razer there's also Diamondback 3G. I'm afraid you can't find any new MX300 or MX500

2012-04-28 16:24
SS Qck+ SK edition and i i tried SS Qck Heavy also.
2012-04-28 16:35
Its an hardware issue Imo. If its in warranty then get it replaced :)
2012-04-28 17:44
What's your mousepad? I use a sensei on a Qpad CT Large and it works perfectly, my only issues have been with the engine but they fixed it in an update

Try updating your firmware
2012-04-28 17:24
troubleshooting guide 101 from a sensei user with NO problems whatsoever 1. blow into the sensor, might have dust in them 2. clean your mousepad 2. reinstall your steelseries engine. 3. update ur mouse firmware 4. play around more with the lift settings 5. RMA it 1 for 1 last but not least, stop nerd raging in your mouse. it isn't really built to be slammed :)

+9000 Indeed pal look at my gaming gear in the profile I have a SS Sensei mouse as well but i never had any issues with it at any point, so i currently have the lift off distance at 7% and there is no such shaky movement in the sensor at all now something you might want to give it a shot too would be using a different surface because i had no problems with my QcK+ FNATIC but on top of that pad i'm using a razer Goliathus speed edition which imo is the best surface out there cuz its more threaded and its triple stitched in the edges
2012-04-28 18:21
How do you know the mm of the lift-off distance in %?
2013-12-09 17:10
The Sensei's sensor is scetchy as fuck. Experiment with the LOD, that's your best option if you don't want to replace the mouse.
