I use a sensei on a Qpad CT Large and it works perfectly, my only issues have been with the engine but they fixed it in an update

troubleshooting guide 101 from a sensei user with NO problems whatsoever
1. blow into the sensor, might have dust in them
2. clean your mousepad
2. reinstall your steelseries engine.
3. update ur mouse firmware
4. play around more with the lift settings
5. RMA it 1 for 1
last but not least, stop nerd raging in your mouse. it isn't really built to be slammed :)

How do you know the mm of the lift-off distance in %?

The Sensei's sensor is scetchy as fuck. Experiment with the LOD, that's your best option if you don't want to replace the mouse.
