I feel like the m4a1-s should have 20/60 bullets instead - in which case i would consider using it. I just dislike the fact that you cannot spam smokes, seeing as the m4a4 is already better in close ranges and against multiple opponents rushing you.
they need to give m4a1 30/90 @ 600 rpm because honestly m4a4 is far stronger
The game is struggling at two big levels; the technical side and the gameplay side. The technical issues are a result of the poor work by the development team at properly evaluating their game, properly fixing bugs, and properly and timely responding to feedback.
Crucial game fixes,
* Fix bug jump
* Fix hitboxes youtube.com/watch?v=8pRxvPhetvI
* Fix he grenade
* Fix molotov bug
* Fix strafe/crouch/land animation in world view youtube.com/watch?v=eF-vLd3UTsk
On the gameplay side, the game is getting stale, the same set of maps have been played for many years now. Many of the weapons themselves have a lot of imbalances that create uncertainty and frustration at both casual and professional play. To me it seems that the developers revolve their gameplay changes around skins. They dislike the idea of adding new core maps because they'll have to make a skin collection for it from scratch.
Suggested gameplay changes,
* Refresh the core competitive map pool by replacing half of the current maps (notably cobblestone).
* Tec9/P250/Five-Seven two headshot kill
* Increase pistol and SMG bullet spread and decrease accurate range
* Properly nerf the UMP
* Increase rifle tagging power
* Increase inaccuracy while jumping for shotguns, SMG's, and pistols
* Change m4a1-s to 30/90 at 600 rpm
* Change kill reward for AWP and CZ back to $300.
The A1 and A4 actually have the same first shot accuracy, the only things that make it better for long range less recoil and less damage falloff, you can test it out yourself by going on w/e map you like and typing cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy 2
m4a4 because when I use the a1 I have moments where I feel like if I had the a4 I could've gotten an extra kill or won a gunfight.. whereas with the a4 I never have moments where I feel like the a1 would've benefited me more
It really depends on what map you're playing. I personally go:
dust2 - m4a1s
cache - m4a4
train - m4a4
overpass - m4a1s
cobble - m4a4
mirage - depends on my mood
inferno - m4a4 (if i want to play B) / m4a1s (if i want to play A/mid)
It depends, I usually go to the same position on the map each game, so it depends.
Inferno: bannana/backsite b so A4
Mirage: b or mid so A1
Overpass mid so A1
Cobble don't play, but drop with A4
Cache mid so A4
Train electric box or buffers so A4
Nuke don't play, but hut on or railings on a so a1
I usually play short or back site, so where accuracy is more important, my friend plays a4 and goes truck or bench, he's better at spraying, and I act as bait, which makes more sense if I use the a1. It makes sense in our set up, haha
